Crystal chandeliers give visual balance to the bedroom's tall ceiling. The reflection bounces light off the lacquered ceiling and on the warm white walls. Brand new oak hardwood flooring adds a wonderful warmth to the private, two room suite. You will find a full bath with walk in shower with natural stone subway tiles along with a half bath ( with hand rails). There is no bathtub. Amenities include - Sonos speakers providing surround sound throughout the space - Whole house Wi-Fi access with a mesh network of Wi-Fi points - 43 inch UHD TV with Roku streaming Netflix and Pandora Radio - His and her bathroom - Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, prep bowls, knives, cutting boards, 10 - cup drip Mr. Coffee including filters, toaster, electric skillet, electric hot water kettle, blender, ice bucket - Outdoor deck for a breezy place to unwind - Washer and dryer provided for your use - Along with off street parking space in a gravel parking area behind the building This apartment is for adults only ( no children/infants). Location Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania ' in town', a small mountain town once the second most popular tourist spot in America. East side local character sets it apart from it's downtown's highly trafficed path and is a short distance to live entertainment, outdoor recreation, quaint shops, restaurants and pubs. 4 season with whitewater rafting, hiking, biking, D&L Trail, paintball, museums, wineries, shows, music, antiquing, great architecture, festivals. Lush green mountains in bloom with flowers on mountain laurel, gorgeous colors in autumn, hills snowy white in winter for trail skiing. Lakes with beaches, swimming, golfing, casinos, farms, nature trails, gamelands, rich wildlife, fishing on the Lehigh River. Guest access The entrance to the Getaway is at the back of the building with on- site parking that makes unpacking easy. You will have exclusive access to a first floor apartment, including an attached deck for a breezy place to unwind. Key less entry will allow you to access the inside of the building; then a key is provided to the apartment door. Other things to note Once reaching the Getaway, please go to the back of the building to park and unload in our private parking lot. Short drive to Penn's Peak, Mauch Chunk Opera House, ski slopes, Mauch Chunk Lake Park, Hickory Run State Park are all within minutes from the property.

The Glen Onoko Getaway is an excellent base for exploring some of the town's attractions including the Asa packer Mansion, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, The Old Jail. Most errands require a car. You will enjoy the close proximity of the Lehigh Gorge State Park to enjoy the natural beauty and geology of the area. The area has an array of restaurants, vinyl record store, bars and bike shops.
