Home away from home
This rental was perfect for a relaxing getaway. My favorite nights of my vacation consisted of just sitting down with some friends in the living room (that had more than enough seating), drinking some hot chocolate, reminiscing, and sharing laughs. It was the perfect cozy retreat. Having gone down in January, left me very curious about how lovely this rental would be in the summer time. The boardwalk and beach are only blocks away from the rental. From the front deck you can see one of the roller coaster. I hope to return to South Jersey this summer and very much look forward to having a day of fun on the beach or boardwalk and coming back to this rental that really does feel like home. The open concept in the living room, dining area, and kitchen insures no one is left out (aka me the cook). Laura was one of the most patient and kind people I have ever rented from. She made sure I would have everything I would need before and during the stay. It was an all-around wonderful experience and I would definitely suggest this rental to others.

Relaxing and enjoyable trip to the Wildwood shore
The Condo -- known as Spencer -- was quite the surprise. The pictures really do not do it justice. There is plenty of space in the living area along with a sitting area right near by. A full kitchen which came in handy as the daughter's boyfriend surprised us by cooking dinner one night. Two baths came in handy as there was no waiting. Three bedrooms which held our 5 people (and would hold 7) comfortably. Easy access to an indoor garage for two vehicles (no overheated cars) and easy access to the condo itself.
2 1/2 blocks from the boardwalk. Bike rentals just blocks away too.
Laura (your host) is fantastic. Kept in touch with us even on the night before to make sure we had all the information we needed. And she would make herself available if needed.
Big change for us from staying at the hotels over the past 10 years. This was a terrific change of pace and (as previously stated), Spencer was a true delight to stay in. We're trying to plan another long weekend near the end of the summer season. Will definitely try to book this again and have told many of our friends.

Thank you for your glowing review - and so glad you had such a good time! i agree - having a place to call your own is much nicer than staying at a hotel. Spencer has become a home away from home for me. My goal is that my guests feel the same way. Please feel free to stay any time you have the inclination.

Oh, Sandra, your sweet words really touch my heart, and reaffirm my thinking that sharing Spencer with others is the way to go. Many families and groups of friends have enjoyed their time here. I'm doing my best to keep that "tradition" going.

Sweet time at Spencer
Our family, and another, composed of 4 adults and 5 children had a wonderful, relaxing time at this home on Spencer Ave. The owner, Laura, was so kind and helpful during the whole process! The home was clean, comfortable, well stocked and convenient to the beach/boardwalk, convention center, and a short walk to playgrounds and stores as well. We were able to truly relax and enjoy one another - a true blessing to break from the busy pace of life! We would highly recommend this home and owner!

Relaxing Getaway
We stayed in this until in September and enjoyed it so much that we have already made arrangements to stay again this year. The owner is very accommodating and a measure to deal with.

2nd time just as great
This is our second year here and we are still in love with Spencer. Close enough to the boards and beach. All the things that make you feel at home. You can't ask for more for the price. We hope to make this a yearly visit. Thanks again to Laura for a fantastic place to stay.

Wonderful vacation family condo to rent.
Laura's condo was fantastic! This is our 2nd year renting. The condo has a closed in garage, 4 blocks to beach and boardwalk. Close to supermarkets, drug stores and many eateries. Plenty of room for our family. This year Laura added more homely touches! It was a very relaxing vacation.

Great Condo!
This condo was a great place to stay. Nice to come back to after a day at the beach and or boardwalk. It has all the amenities including parking in the garage for easy unloading. We hit the grocery store and prepared most of our meals right in the condo. The washer and dryer was a nice convenience as we were able to wash all our clothes and just unpack when we got home instead of doing multiple loads of laundry. I had to contact the owner for a small item and she responded right away. I have to say I don't think the pictures do this place justice. It is extremely nice, open and bright. Definitely plan on going back sometime. TIP: If you go the beach and have a stroller or cart go down by the convention center as there is a boardwalk that leads right to the ocean. You can rent umbrellas for $15.00 for he day. Thanks Laura for a great vacation.

Thank YOU for sharing my home-away-from home! I appreciate how you took care of Spencer, and am thrilled to hear you had a wonderful vacation. I agree with your comment about the photos not doing the condo justice. A few of its nicest features are its spaciousness and all of the natural light that flows in because it's a top, corner unit with plenty of windows. I'll get better photos the first chance I get.

perfect home away from home
This condo was great. Big and bright with many personal touches. The location was within walking to the beach and many family friendly activities. What a spectacular view of the Friday night fireworks from the balcony. There are several stores for groceries as well as restaurants within minutes. The area was quiet and clean. My kids and I had such a great time. We will definitely visit again.

I'm so happy to hear that you and your children enjoyed your time at Spencer, Michelle. Thank you for leaving this review and especially for mentioning the personal touches. Every time I go to Wildwood, I do a little something to make the condo more welcoming and provide something new for guests. I agree, too, that the location can't be beat - close to stores, restaurants, the boardwalk and the convention center!
