My husband and stayed at this villa. All the comforts of home and more. The views and wild life are relaxing and entertaining. The grounds are well maintained and private. The location was perfect, short drive to most beaches and restaurants. Most days were spent at the beaches swimming, snorkeling, shelling and relaxing. Also multiple great restaurants/ drinks(killer bee) right on the beaches. The evenings were spent at the villa enjoying games and drinks in the large screened in porch. Or on the deck floating in the infinity pool. Taking in almost a panoramic view of the ocean and mountains. True relaxing caribbean vacation. Great place, great people. This is our second time staying here and we are already planning for next year. Last time we stayed was for a week, this time it was for 2. The island itself if great, if you are looking for glamour, action and glitz, this isn't the place for you. If you want a relaxing experience where you can sit back, explore, eat, drink and recharge, this is the place and La Vie Dansante is a huge part in this. It is off the main road, down a secondary road yet the sights of St. Kitts, at the foothill of Mt. Nevis and overlooking the water from a distance is at times, breathtaking. The house is large enough for 6 people and comfortable as well. If we had any issues, we made a phone call and they were resolved. We cooked a lot of meals at the house but went out for dinner almost nightly. While the house has an open concept with kitchen, dining room, living room, it also gives you privacy with the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. If you don't want to sit in the house, you can sit in the screened porch and eat, drink your coffee in the morning or just sit and chat. If you want to get some sun, you can sit around or in the pool and relax. The house and bedding is clean and comfortable, the pool is clean and refreshing and the wi-fi and TV works if you want it. You have to remember though, you are on a small island and sometimes, things happen. We (the half of the island) lost power and water for a little bit so things can and will happen from time to time. The owner made sure that our travel from the airport in St. Kitts to the house was seamless. This includes the taxi arrangements from the airport to the water taxi, the water taxi to Nevis and from Oualie Beach to the house. We were able to get a rental car and a Nevis driver's license and the logistics were simple. The house is close to the beach, an airport and restaurants. The local food and drink are good and you can go to Oualie Beach (about 4 miles away) and go diving, snorkeling, bike riding or just hang at the beach. The island offers a lot of things to do but it is not fast paced at all. Looking forward to next year!

Lack of hot water is unacceptable and an easily preventable situation with identifiable root cause and corrective action. A solar hot water system should only be used in series with a domestic hot water system, either a tank or tank-less system: • This allows the system to use the preheated solar water and raise the temperature only if required. • In the event of low solar water temperature quality the downstream system makes up the difference, providing an ample supply of hot water during cloudy days or early morning hours. • Solar hot water systems 101 I noticed the decommissioned hot water tank is in the garage. I would strongly suggest that you replace this or at least forewarn future guest of the issues we experienced. Also the glass panel on your solar system is severely clouded-over thus reducing the thermal cycle efficiency dramatically. Going green is great but only when a redundant system is in place. The place is running down and needs attention.

House was the perfect place to call home for the week. Boys loved the pool. Monkey sightings daily. Great view while relaxing on the deck/patio each night. Our boys are teenagers so it was perfect. If I was traveling with small children or non swimmers, I would suggest life jackets as the pool is very deep on one end.... not a complaint, just a suggestion. Our boys loved the deep end:-)

Enjoyed the privacy of our own house while staying on Nevis. Very spacious with everything you could need- 3 bdr, 2bth, pool, laundry, extra soaps, shampoos, towels..the fridge even had drinks! Loved waking up to the most amazing view every morning. We ended up extending a night as well and would definitely stay here again.

We loved the house! It was absolutely gorgeous, and plenty of room for everyone, we could've spent the entire weekend staying in the house and enjoying the view and have been satisfied with our stay. The landlord and property manager were extremely helpful and easy to work with, I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Nevis!

This villa was amazing to stay in and had amazing amenities. I will always keep coming back to this villa when visiting Nevis. Everyone who went with loved and would love to go again. Anyone truly looking for a vacation spot and an amazing place to stay book here. It's got a huge yard and private parking along with a private pool which was the selling point for me to book here. Will come back again.

This is a great little house off the beaten path - literally and figuratively. There are excellent views of the Atlantic and St Kitts from the front of the house and Nevis Peak from the back. Lots of wildlife here - goats, monkeys, donkeys, birds....pretty entertaining! It was also fun being a mile or so from the airport- you could watch the small planes make approaches. The house is close to Mount Nevis hotel - you could literally throw a rock and hit it. It's also close to beaches. The pool is wonderful - we must have jumped in four or five times a day. The owner is friendly and responsive. He arranged for the property manager to meet us at Oualie Beach and she led us right to the house - no muss or fuss. We couldn't have asked for an easier rental experience.

This is my second time staying at this villa (and won't be my last). I live on St. Kitts and love coming over to Nevis for short getaways. This house is perfect for groups of friends or a few couples. It isn't right on the beach but the island is so small that it's an easy drive to any location. The view from the patio is beautiful and the pool is the icing on the cake. Not to mention the owners of the house are wonderful people, always accommodating and willing to work with your plans. I highly recommend staying here!!
