Cancellation due to COVID restrictions
Despite our booking having to be cancelled because of the COVID restrictions we found the company to be extremely fair and in particular Brook who dealt with the situation with great efficiency. Brook is a credit to the company. We hope to visit next year.

A Shame
This is our second stay here after a 2 year gap. The apartment is well located in shanklin and very well kept. There have been a few changes since our last time which to a degree spoilt our stay. The kitchen is very compact but well fitted. They, I believe for fire regulations have fitted a self closing door. This limited the use as it was hard to keep having to open the door every time and would bang loudly when it shut.
This was echoed with all the other apartments with these same style of self close doors. We were constantly disturbed all times of the day and night by banging doors which was very annoying and kept us awake at night.
There was a family upstairs who were always moving at all hours and sounded like a heard elephants.
The last issue was that of smoking. Our living room window looks out to the sea with a lovely view.it was nice and hot and we kept the only window in the room open. Sadly the folk down stairs appeared to be chain smokers and they were constantly at it and the horrible smell was coming up into the room and apartment. Neither of us are smokers and this added to the negative feedback. I did raise this with the management who said people could smoke there. And we should approach the family upstairs about the noise. It's a shame because I don't think we will be staying here again. Too many negatives. A holiday is supposed to relaxing and enjoyable. With the lack of sleep and the cigarette smoke we achieved neither of these.
A great shame as the staff were wonderful helpful and so polite.

Great apartment with extras
We stayed for 5 nights with our 18 month toddler. On arrival Mary was really friendly & helpful. A high chair was left as requested & Mary also asked if we needed a stair gate as there are a few stairs leading to the lounge which was very thoughtful. The apartments are spotless with extras such as washing/dishwasher tablets, black bags, sponges, kitchen roll along with extra toilet rolls which is a lot more than you normally get at other holiday apartments!! My little one loved the fact he had access to a play area which we visited daily. Having use of the hotel facilities is also an extra bonus. We will be visiting again. Thank you Mary &

Brilliant
This place was excellent, we found the place relaxing and because it was more like a home it made the stay more enjoyable. The area around Shanklin Villas is lovely and we had a great sea-view from our room. I found it great they had a washer/dryer as most places don't do when we used the Jacuzzi we could dry our stuff straight away. It had all the amenities that were needed including an iron and ironing board. It was like a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing
We stayed in April for a midweek two night stay but extended to an extra two nights as the place was just amazing. We couldn't of asked for a better place to stay. Sally she meeted and greeted us at the apartment , she is the most friendly down to earth women. We was having a great chat about the island and our new born baby, she is a credit to the company. We would like to thank you all for your well equipped apartment with no faults what so ever.

Superb apartment in a fantastic location
The apartment is listed as 4-star and is definitely that. it was immaculate when we arrived, and it's incredibly well equipped for a self-catering stay. Although we didn't cook there (other than breakfast) it had everything you could possibly need, including fresh milk when we arrived. As everyone else has mentioned, the bed was amazing - huge and way too comfortable and the best feature is definitely the hot tub - especially on a cold November afternoon!
Its located 5 mins form the high street in one direction & 5 mins from he beach & coast path in the other, so ideally placed for a walking weekend.
It was easy to book & arrival was seamless, overall an excellent place to stay & will definitely go back again.

Compact and neat
We were able to take up residence earlier than we had planned thanks to Carol replying to my e-mail promptly. Arrival was fuss free and apartment was immaculate. Bathroom/ shower was excellent. Living room was fine, nice views out to sea. Kitchen was a bit small but adequate. Washing machine took a bit of fathoming out and was very noisy so put washing on when we were out and sorted when we returned. Hubby set the fire alarm off by accident cooking one evening so make sure the extractor fan is on full blast! TV & DVD combo in both living room and bedroom. Bed was divine! Large and very comfortable, had trouble getting out of it! . There were also supplies of loo roll, dishwasher and washing machine tablets, black sacks, toilet duck, washing up liquid , washing up cloth, salt and pepper. So a lot of basics were supplied which was is not normally the case in self catering places. Also, previous reviews had made remarks about a slow toaster, the lack of salt and pepper and the fact that the window in the living room was unable to be opened. These issues had all been addressed upon our arrival which means that the management take all complaints/niggles seriously and endeavor to put things right.There was access to a hot tub which we didn't use but some other holiday makers did and sounded like they had fun! Location was handy for both beach and town. All in all, a lovely place to stay and highly recommended. Thank you to Carol and her team for helping us to have such a pleasant experience.

Generally 1st Rate, except .....
Wonderful situation, with easy access to both Shanklin village and the Sea Front Promenade.
Generally well appointed with well laid out lounge having a beautiful sea view and a large double bed room with an extremely comfortable king sized bed. Shower is very easy to use.
Only "slight" quibble is that salt and pepper were not provided, which is unusual in this type of accommodation, and the toaster was very, very slow

Contemporary and comfortable
A modern, spotless apartment on ground floor, close to the town and the beach. A huge, comfortable bed and small, but well equipped, kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Holiday
Very nice apartment, great sea view from sitting room, very comfortable beds, nice swimming pool at sister hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Perfectly situated.

The apartment is located a 5 minute walk from the nearest bus route travelling to either Sandown or Ventnor. The main bus station is located in the centre of Shanklin offering connections to other destinations on the Island and is also approximately a 5 minute walk from the apartment building. Shanklin Train Station is a 10 minute walk from the apartment and from here you can catch a train to Lake, Sandown, Brading, Smallbrook Junction, Ryde St Johns, Ryde Esplanade and Ryde Pier Head.
