I will give you tips to help your stay
Arrived at apartment if your getting a taxi just say’ Calle Bulto ‘ carpark by The Cosy Corner
This is the beginning of the walkway and about a 4 min walk will take you to Number 13
What I will say is call ‘javier ‘ The owner once you are in the Taxi ,from Airport is about 20 Mins and around €20 / €25
Javier lives very close
The apartment itself is a 9 out of 10 ,I would have given it a 10 but I will explain why ,Nothing Major just preference
If your staying in the Outside up the stairs bedroom the views are amazing the bedroom is amazing the only downside is
There is a small aircoller and a ceiling van which don’t really work to keep the room cool ,it’s also very Noisy and pretty much impossible to sleep
If the Aircon Fixed Unit was the same as the main apartment downstairs it would have given that extra 1 point I could have maybe knock 2 off for not sleeping in hot weather
So if this was fixed by a fully fixed unit a proper Aircon this would have been a 11 out of 10 ( Hopefully the owner would think about this as this would be a serious asset and make your apartment complete )
Tips if on a Lazy afternoon you want to watch TV there is English channels and a lot of them - Javier will show how it works
Tip of the day as the WiFi is not like back home in the UK sometimes the TV Freezes (Just wait for a few seconds and will start again ) But if this is an issue for longer then at back of TV unplug the power to sky box ( Not the WiFi box ) for a sec plug it back in and it will reset and will be ok
You have a washing machine should you want to wash clothes / Iron
You even have chairs and parasols if you want to take to beach ,I have left an inflatable Lilo
As for choice of restaurants well there is so many to pick
The Indian / Tex opposite your entrance is pretty good but gets busy
If you come out of the entrance and turn right you have a full supermarket really good only a few yards away
If you want a full English from the front of the apartment turn left and walk for 10 min to Sunset Beach the best English Breakfast
To the right - Puerto Marina Benalmadena Costa del sol amazing food in Gaucho and others but you will pay more the same meal Calle Bulto for 3 was €45 and in Puerto Marina €90 +
I will say a must visit which I do every time I go to this area is Kaleido the best Cocktail bar / Club in this area €10 a Cocktial
You have an iceBar round the corner it’s small and if you have not done it worth a go €12 gives you entrance and 2 drinks so pretty good
Overhaul the apartment is a perfect location to watch the sunrise 7.27am / People Watch from your large Balcony
Sort the Aircon Upstairs with a fully Fixed unit the same as in the lounge / downstairs and it’s faultless
I would recommend this apartment

Lovely apartment, friendly owner
Stayed here for 5 scorching days at the end of October and really loved the apartment. Javier arranged an airport pick up for us at €30 which went smoothly. Basic facilities but all clean and working. Apartment is rustic not modern but lots of character. Furniture was all we needed. Tired but clean and certainly not as bad as other reviews say! Kitchen well equipped for basics, good size fridge and freezer. Basics like washing up liquid, toilet roll and other bits were useful. Storage drawers under both beds. Ceiling fans fine. Brilliant location with the best of both worlds- amazing beach front and at the back a cute traditional shopping street with lots of restaurants. Remember to get the views, you need to go up 2 flights of stairs to property so not good if you have mobility issues but we managed fine. Socket in downstairs bathroom needs attention and outside lighting would be useful if you can make it work. If you have a problem then call the owner. He is very helpful so don't wait to put negatives here if you haven't given him the chance to sort any issues out! We are booked to return in february and can't wait! Thanks javier! See you soon!

Fantastic Sea Front Apartment
What a great find this was! Right in the heart of La Carrihuela, this fabulous apartment was perfect. 3 separate balconies for all day sunshine, overlooking the beach & sea.
Wake up to a sunrise view from your bed.
We thought it might be noisy from the shops & bars nearby but it absolutely wasn’t a problem.
We will definitely return next year.
Highly recommend this apartment.

Wonderful Views - Terrific Terraces
What a view to wake up to every morning - absolutely fantastic.. watching the Sunset from the upstairs bedroom every morning was an absolute JOY ! A memory I’ll never forget !
Terraces were terrific for both sunbathing and for people watching throughout the day and in the evening - the people walking along the Walkway rarely look up so have no idea their being watched lol. The views of the beach and sea are totally undisturbed - my idea of heaven !
All you could need inside the Duplex - although could have had a couple of more more sun beds - there was seating areas on both large terraces although we just moved the sun beds from the main terrace to catch the last hour of the sunshine each day.
The beds were new and really really comfortable . Loads of linen and towels.
Kitchen had all essentials - although we rarely used anything at all - other than the fridge for all our cold drinks and the kettle for a cuppa.
There was also NO noise disturbances at all - even though the Duplex is in the middle of Calle Bulto which is full of wonderful Restaurants and Shops.
A few small issues - with a few of the outdoor cushions being burst but we always covered them with towels anyway so it wasn’t really an issue. Curtains both upstairs and downstairs were a little worn / torn and in need of being replaced - which was a shame cos the Duplex was really terrific otherwise.
We were rarely inside the Duplex - as the outdoor space was what we were looking for - Sun - Sun -Sun. BEST VIEWS EVER - you won’t be disappointed.
Would go back in a heartbeat , Hopefully soon.

Disappointed
Location good. Not clean and not well maintained. Shortage of utensils for cooking. Asked and some were provided, but waited a week for some to arrive so couldn’t be bothered to ask again. Air con. Mobile unit. Too noisy and flooded on occasions coming through downstairs light. Ceiling fan in upstairs bedroom noisy on high and not cool enough on low! Stair edges broken on arrival and waited a week to be fixed. Bedding and towels poor quality. No wardrobes or drawers. Two seater sofa only was old dirty and smelly. Outdoor terraces had broken furniture and ripped cushions. This is an expensive price for poor quality. Taxi cannot drop you near and it is quite a long walk and then it is two flights of stairs up to apartment and then another to upstairs bedroom. No mention of these facts. We have now noticed other reviews of similar complaints and yet you continue to let this be advertised with no concern to the fact people are spending their hard earned money to find this is what they get for it. Overpriced most certainly. Maintained, cleaned and a certain standard of linen etc. Nor do you expect to literally live out of a suitcase. No point in contacting you as we would probably have wasted most of our holiday trying to remove ourselves and we thought we had paid damage waiver and were waiting for that before reporting. I would like you to respond to these concerns and why when others have made similar reviews you have done nothing in regards to the problems.

Very mixed experience.
The location of this apartment is second to none. We visit the Torremolinos/ Benalmadena area around twice a year and this is, by some distance the best located apartment we have ever rented. There are three balconies, the main one having a fantastic vista only 5 meters from the beach and sea...wonderful.
The apartment was very clean and had as many towels, and as much bedding as you could possibly need.
Javier the host was very helpful, met us on our arrival and talked us through the facilities on offer.
However given the relatively high end price of the apartment, the facilities on offer were to be honest a bit basic.
Firstly, and most importantly, the beds were terrible. The bed on the lower floor was missing one slat and others were bent out of shape, which along with the cheap thin mattress, made for a really uncomfortable sleep.
There is a distinct lack of clothing storage throughout.There is one big area of open shelving and hanging downstairs.However there is not one drawer anywhere in the apartment and no clothes storage of any kind on the upper floor. That’s a problem.
Kitchen equipment was very basic. Not looking to cook a gourmet meal on holiday...but no toaster?... no tin opener? Cutlery and utensils were a mix and match of various, poor quality items from different sets, and often not enough for four people to use.
A number of these issues have been highlighted in previous reviews as has the fact that the outdoor furniture is also badly needing replacement..... broken plastics, burst cushions etc, some of it wasn’t even useable as it was in bits.
This apartment has the potential to be absolutely magnificent, if the owner chose to take previous feedback on board, and spent not too many Euros to provide a standard of accommodation that the price being asked for should provide.
Yes the location is fabulous...we’re taking that as a given, but there should be a bit more on offer than that.
Would I return??
Well, no doubt the location is hard to beat, but sadly given the overall standard on offer for the price, we’re looking for style and comfort as well as location when we’re on holiday, and sadly this didn’t quite match up.

Wonderful stay in excellent location
Location, location absolutely fabulous. No need to go much further than the balcony of this wonderful apartment. We were blessed with amazing weather so balcony was an ideal place to relax and enjoy many enjoyable breakfasts and lunches. There are a couple of issues that would need to be addressed as the mattresses!!! which I know has been mentioned before. A little tender loving care would make you want to come back again and again. There were only 2 loungers, think 2 fold ups one be a good idea as it is an apartment for 4. All in all a wonderful experience.

We had a great stay the handing over of keys was straight forward we were met at the apartment the kettle didn’t work the next day and was replaced immediately, the location of the apartment was superb the views excellent, overlooking the beach one side and all the shops, bars and restaurants the other. If there was a problem nothing was to much trouble. Only a couple of things no full length mirror in the apartment and no wardrobe or drawers in the upstairs bedroom also when it rains there’s a leak in the kitchen ceiling also outside furniture looking a little tired, but like I said it’s all about the views!!!

Gorgeous place with amazing location
We stayed at this gorgeous apartment over Christmas and New year. It has all you need for the perfect escape.. Sun views location clean and everything you need for a home from home. The views are spectacular and the sun rises directly infront of the duplex apartment. The upstairs bedroom is the perfect place to wake up looking out yo see you can almost touch it. What a wonderful holiday and the best place to relax. All facilities within yards of the apartment. We definately recommend this amazing gem. Thank you Javier.
