I arrived to a lovely welcome from to my wonderful hosts. They welcomed me and my dog, Scarlett with open arms. Nothing was too much trouble.
The welcome pack was wonderful. homemade jams, scones. Bread, some bacon, ham, cheese, fresh eggs from the hens there, also choccies and prosecco.
There were so many lovely touches that made it feel extra special and care had been taken, even down to the ribbon around the towels was of little bees to match the theme of the cottage.
Lovely garden that Scarlett enjoyed,
I will definitely use again if I am ever in that neck of the woods again.

Excellent family holiday at The Bee's Knees
If you're looking for a family and dog friendly holiday cottage in Norfolk, I cannot recommend The Bee's Knees highly enough. This is a beautiful cottage set in gorgeous grounds, with your own dedicated play area for children, duck pond and excellent BBQ facilities.
We were given the warmest of welcomes by Dalene and Alex, for whom nothing is too much trouble and who have the highest attention to detail. Our cottage welcome was completed with with a selection of homemade goodies, even treats for our grateful pooch. Our dog also enjoyed her stay, with Dalene and Alex taking care of her for a day while we visited the local zoo.
You need not worry about a rainy day, with the amazing section of children's toys and DVDs, not forgetting the action packed toy box.
We can't wait to return and create even more fond memories.

Honeymoon/holiday
We have had such a great time here - Dalene & Alex made our time extra special in such a well equipped pleasant environment with BBQ hut and places to eat, drink and relax around the garden, super sunny week we had breakfast - lunch and evening meals outside with the ducks, cats and dogs ! 🤪 the house we stayed in with Good friends is spacious, clean, well laid out with quality appliances and fabulous comfy beds in both rooms made up as doubles.

Booked by the mum for a family wedding, nice cottage, a very quiet and relaxing place away from city life. Owners are friendly and welcoming too. If you like being close to nature, this is the place for you.

Beeautiful!
Stayed with husband, daughter, son-in-law and 6 month old grandson. Very happy with the cottage and our hosts, Dalene and Alex. The welcome pack was superb, freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream, prosecco, cheese, ham - the list goes on! We also loved the location and the cottage was very pretty and all the extras were so well thought out. The garden area is perfect with gazebos,chickens, geese and lovely areas to sit. There is also an indoor barbecue structure with firepit but due to the hot weather we used the outdoor barbecue also attended by the cat, Oliver!
Returning daily from our travels we watched some of the DVDs. Thank your for our holiday. We have already recommended you.

Delightful cottage and gardens
Sorry for delay Dalene and Alex, what a lovely cottage, not a thing you could think of that wasn't provided for comfort and pleasure. The welcome pack was so extensive and so many other food and drink products over and beyond we have ever experienced before.our granddaughters loved the play area and enjoyed making up their games at some point most days.The wildlife and gardens were a delight and never seen so many ducklings together before! Thank you for putting up with our dog and sorry she barked so much,glad she enjoyed being with your dog's and cats.plenty of things to do in the area, the zoo at Banham particularly good.lots of good places to eat out too, altogether can highly recommend this cottage and garden.

Set in the heart of the countryside & beautifully decorated too.
Extremely dog 🐕 friendly.

Another fantastic stay...
We have just returned home from our second stay at Olde Farm. We stayed in The Bees Knees this time.
The location is just so peaceful and perfect. There were some new duck and chicken additions, so special to see right on your doorstep.
We had lovely welcome treats which included eggs from the chickens, local ham and chocolates which is always a lovely touch. Even treats for our dogs and feed for the ducks.
Immaculately clean, you don’t feel like you have to clean when you get there like you do when you stay away in a self catering property. It is spotless which is great and means you can relax from the moment you arrive.
The cottage has everything you need from WiFi to Amazon Alexa to every cooking appliance you can think of! They have not missed a thing.
Alex and Dalene are the most perfect hosts you could ever ask for on holiday and they make you feel so welcome.
A great place to go if you want to get away, relax and enjoy your environment, especially if you have a dog, this cottage has an enclosed courtyard which is really useful and lovely to sit out in.
Thanks again for another wonderful stay. We will see you again soon!
We highly highly recommend Olde Farm to anyone, you will not be disappointed! :-)

“The bees knees” - it certainly is!
What a fabulous find! Beautiful, quaint cottage set in stunning gardens available for adults, kids and dogs to explore (huts, hobbit houses, a pond, hammocks and kids play area)... we travelled as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids - 9 & 12) and our dog. The cottage was fully equipped with absolutely everything you can think of and more. We made a game of trying to think of something that hadn’t been thought of but it was an impossible task! From nespresso pods to cooking herbs and clip film from a slow cooker to cotton buds and hair clips. As for the welcome pack, it was second to none and incredibly generous. The hosts Dalene and Alex were fabulous - extremely accommodating and friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. Whilst there, we visited Banham zoo (10 mins away), old Buckingham country park (2 mins), greenacre pub/restaurant (2 mins - good, generous, reasonably priced pub grub, great atmosphere), thetford forest - high lodge (20 mins). Beautiful cottage, fantastic hosts, great location, we will be returning....

Amazing pet friendly getaway
We booked for a few days stay, but having read the reviews were a little bit sceptical as to whether it would live up to the expectation.
Amazing is the only word to describe this cottage. It is exactly as pictured and described, only better. On arrival the owners greeted us and gave us a tour of the grounds and accommodation, not forgetting the duck pond.
The cottage is very well appointed, neat, tidy with a modern decor that nods to its history. Every modern requirement in the kitchen, including a fabulous pack of home baked goods and local produce.
Excellent quiet location. Local pubs nearby, which serve food for those that want to dine out. Banham Zoo is only 10 minutes away.
We would not hesitate at booking to stay here again.
