Yes, in a high season our price is 2000 ISK per adult (or children over 12 y. o.). We can’t lower our price, because the demand of our camping is already too high, t. i., we can’t offer a place to everyone who wants to stay in our campsite, because we have too many visitors than we can offer a place. Our campsite is one of the most beautiful one, it is in the nature reserve area and our visitors appreciates how we take care about it (clean campground and bathrooms, orderly running infrastructure and facilities, friendly and helpful staff). That’s why we have so many visitors who want to stay in our campsite.
We are on the shore of the lake, we have to protect this nature reserve area and avoid any kind of pollution of it. Because of that we don’t have facilities to empty chemical toilets or grey waters. And we inform all our visitors that we can’t offer this facility and if it is needed, they have to go to another campsite.
I would like to thank you for mentioning the sinks. We are used to Icelandic weather (rain and wind), that’s why we even didn´t think that it is needed to cover sinks outside. But regarding to your note, in the nearest future we will make a roof for the outdoor sinks to have it more comfortable for our guests. Thank you one more time for this remark.
