Wir sind uns bewusst dass es derzeit ein großes problem hinsichtlich der tsetsefliege im Serengeti National park. Dies wurde durch eine kombination von den ungewöhnlich heftigen Regenfällen in dieser Saison und der jüngsten ankunft der jährlichen tierwanderung verursacht worden. Leider ist dies kein isoliertes Problem und viele Camps innerhalb des Parks haben ein ähnliches Problem derzeit.

Das hauptproblem ist, dass trotz unserer bemühungen im Camp, beide besuchen tieren sowie Safari-Fahrzeuge bei der ankunft am Camp sind in den tsetsefliegen bringen.

Allerdings hat viel von unseren Mitarbeitern wurde bei Pioneer Camp getan werden, um dieses problem zu reduzieren. Dies beinhaltet das sprühen der umgebung, errichtet weitere 60 tstse fallen, und schließlich die verringerung der höhe des grases, die eine oase für die fliegen bieten kann. Durch diese Aktionen Ich glaube, dass dieses problem wurde drastisch reduziert.

Natürlich sind wir traurig, dass diese natürliche vorkommen kann die freude an Ihren aufenthalt im Pioneer Camp reduziert haben, aber ich bin sehr froh, dass das Camp selbst so hoch bewertet in Ihrer bewertung.

We are aware that there is currently a significant problem within Serengeti regarding the tsetse fly. This has been caused by a combination of the unusually heavy rains this season and the recent arrival of the annual animal migration. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated problem and many camps suffer within the park.

The main problem is that despite our best efforts within the Camp, both the visiting animals as well as safari vehicles arriving at the Camp bring in the tsetse flies.

However our management at Pioneer Camp has already done a great deal to reduce this problem. This includes spraying the surrounding area, erecting a further sixty tsetse traps and finally reducing the height of the grass which can provide a haven for the flies. Due to these actions I believe that this problem has been dramatically reduced.

Of course we are sad that this may have reduced the enjoyment of your stay at Pioneer Camp, but I am very happy that the Camp itself rated so highly in your review.
