Am Ende eines schönen Tages, wollten wir noch einen Drink auf der Rooftop bar zu uns nehmen. Beim betreten des Hotels roch es in der Lobby leider nach Klostein. Auf dem Dach angekommen, liegt einem Malaga zu Füßen. Der Blick über die Stadt und den Hafen ist atemberaubend, besonders im Dunkeln, wenn die Stadt beleuchtet ist. Eine Band mit Sängerin spielten spanische Musik, sehr nett zu zuhören.
Abzug gibt es definitiv in der Bewertung der Trainings. Wir bestellten einen Mojito und einen Gintonic mit Bombay Sapphire. Die Zutaten des Mojito waren bereits vor gemixt und in Flaschen abgefüllt, gerade dass noch Eis und Minze hinzugefügt wurden. Der Gin war auch kein Bombay Sapphire, obwohl er aus einer blauen Flasche kam. Den Barkeeper darauf angesprochen, meinte er, das wäre schon korrekt. Der Geschmack gab meinem Eindruck recht, es war nicht in Ordnung. Meiner Meinung nach spielt das Hotel seine Lage aus, ist aber nachlässig bei den Drinks. Da hilft es auch nicht, wenn ein Gintonic „nur“ 8 € kostet. Ich zahle lieber mehr und habe etwas Anständiges im Glas.

In reference to your comment of the drinks, I would very kindly inform you, that the drinks in our hotel are bought directly with the big brands and all the bottles are properly sealed, so if you were served your drink with a Bombay Sapphire bottle, it was that's exactly what they put in your cup. We pay a lot of attention to quality and service to our customers and always with the first brands. For all that said, you can trust the quality of our drinks.
Please accept our apology for not meeting your expectations during your stay.

Fühlt sich an wie „pre-pay your Drink, if you like it or Not“. Um in die Bar zu gelangen, wird man gezwungen 8€ zu bezahlen, anders kommt man gar nicht erst hinein.
Sicher hält man sich so die klassischen „einen Kaffee und ein Wasser Gäste“ vom Leib, aber unverschämt ist es trotz allem.
Mal abgesehen von der Motivation der Dame, die die Tickets verkauft.
Dann schließt die Bar für die Öffentlichkeit, aber dieses Konzept ist ärgerlich für potenzielle Gäste!

I kindly inform you that in house guest can enjoy our lovely terrace without paying the ticket. During weekend, following Spanish Law, in accordance with art. 5d and following of Decree 10/2003, of January 28, which approves the General Regulation of the Admission of Persons in Establishments of Public Shows and Recreational Activities we request a fee as a control measure for external guest. This fee includes a drink in our Terrace.
Your feedback is extremely important to us and has been discussed at an Executive level. I hope that you will come again so that we can create a completely different experience for you.

Das AC Hotel Malaga Palacio ist in direkter Lage zum Hafen und an der Plaza Marina,
Bushaltstelle vom Flughafen, sauber, ausreichend groß, mit Pool auf dem Dach.
Zentrale Lage zur Altstadt, Kathedrale, maurische Burganlage, Hafen, Bootsanlegestelle, Restaurants, Tipp. Mercado Centrale, ein Frischmarkt.

Beste, weil zentrale Lage, daher kann man die Fenster zur Straße beim besten Willen nachts nicht offen lassen. Der Blick der meisten Zimmer geht zum Hafen, bis zum ca. 10.Stock haben alle Zimmer einen Balkon.
Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und ordentlich eingerichtet, das Bad in grünem Marmor bietet alles, was der Reisende benötigt. Betten liegen sich prima.
Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und für Spanien außergewöhnlich gut, neben gutem Schinken und Käse usw gibt es auch viel frisches Obst, Joghurt, Körner und frischen Saft.
Star ist die Panorama-Dachterrasse mit atemberaubendem Blick über die gesamte Stadt und schönem Restaurant/BAR sowie dem kleinen ungeheizten Pool, der ab 1800 Uhr (im Sommer 1900 Uhr) den Nachtschwärmern weichen muss.
