[ENGLISH] Looking for the best way to discover Zambia, its wildlife, and its people, I fell in love with Njobvu Safari Camp’s story through their superb website! After a call to Nicolas Njobvu, Zambian owner of the camp, he helped me book my stay for 2 for 6 nights from October 20th to 26th, 2024. The camp is nicely located a few minutes only next to the South Luangwa National Park where wildlife is amazing and so rich with mammals (leopards, lions, antelopes, hippos, elephants, buffalos, monkeys …), birds, crocodiles and so many more! At the camp, the sightseeing also offers an amazing view on the lagoon wildlife from the deck or from your nice private chalet balcony or from the brand-new tents too! Njobvu remarkable and friendly team offers remarkable services to make you feel home at any time thanks to their dedication and passion: - Nicolas as smiling owner who created this camp from scratch with very hard work - Mariam, Dokas, Mike, and their teams who take care of you and your accommodation with joy and energy, - Daniel, great game driver and spotter with Timo and Fred - Donald and Emmanuel, the Bush Taxis - And all the other team members who contribute to make you enjoy your stay. Moreover, food is incredibly good and tasty thanks to a great chef and cooking team! All are hard workers and want to evolve in the camp to improve guests’ experience! THANK YOU ALL! The 2 safaris a day (one in the morning at park opening and one in the evening with night safari) are incredible and the experience is even better thanks to the very skilled guide explaining you all about wildlife and plants around! Other activities can also be organized thanks to the team like discovering local art and communities. The long travel from Switzerland was worth it and we came back home with lots of memories, friends including some guests we met there, and pictures: we loved each moment within Njobvu Safari Camp Family! Le camp est idéalement situé à quelques minutes seulement du parc national de South Luangwa où la faune est incroyable et si riche en mammifères (léopards, lions, antilopes, hippopotames, éléphants, buffles, singes…), oiseaux, crocodiles et bien d’autres encore ! Au camp, la visite offre également une vue imprenable sur la faune du lagon depuis la terrasse ou depuis le balcon de votre joli chalet privé ou encore depuis les tentes flambant neuves ! Le long voyage depuis la Suisse en valait la peine et nous sommes rentrés avec plein de souvenirs, des amis dont quelques invités rencontrés là-bas, et des photos : nous avons adoré chaque moment au sein de Njobvu Safari Camp Family ! Very fond of safaris and wildlife, we fell in love with the story of the only Zambian owned safari lodge: Njobvu Safari Camp! So, we decided to book a stay for 6 nights from October 20th to October 26th, 2024.
Even if the booking process could be a bit perfectible and will improve for sure, the long travel from Switzerland was so worth it!
Indeed, what a place and what a team! We enjoyed every minute we spent in this lovely camp in the middle of wildlife and only few minutes away from South Luangwa National Park.
Njobvu Safari Camp offers great and very clean accommodations (chalets and brand-new tents) where you feel comfortable with a wonderful view on wildlife sightseeing, very high-quality tasty food, and perfect laundry services.
The camp is managed by the very hard worker Nicolas Njobvu and operated by his remarkable friendly team who makes you feel home: you feel part of Njobvu Safari family thanks to their dedication and will to make your stay memorable!
The team can help you organize several things including transfers, shopping of local art items, and activities to support local communities.
In our package, we had the chance to benefit from 2 safaris a day: one early morning at the opening of the National Park and one in the afternoon ending up as a night safari. Wildlife is very active from cats (lions and leopards), hippos, birds including the carmine bee eaters, elephants, buffalos, antelopes, crocodiles and so many more animals! The game driver is very skilled and teaches you so much about the environment of the area.
We are coming back with a lot of memories and pictures!

Passionnés de safaris et de vie sauvage, nous sommes tombés amoureux de l'histoire du seul lodge safari zambien : Njobvu Safari Camp !
Nous avons donc décidé de réserver un séjour de 6 nuits du 20 au 26 octobre 2024.
Même si le processus de réservation pourrait être un peu perfectible et s'améliorera à coup sûr, le long voyage depuis la Suisse en valait vraiment la peine !
En effet, quel endroit et quelle équipe ! Nous avons apprécié chaque minute passée dans ce joli camp au milieu de la vie sauvage et à seulement quelques minutes du parc national de South Luangwa.
Njobvu Safari Camp propose des hébergements superbes et très propres (chalets et tentes flambant neuves) où l'on se sent à l'aise avec une vue magnifique sur les animaux sauvages, une nourriture savoureuse de très haute qualité et un service de blanchisserie parfait.
Le camp est géré par Nicolas Njobvu, un travailleur acharné, et exploité par une équipe remarquable et amicale qui vous fait vous sentir comme chez vous : vous vous sentez partie intégrante de la famille Njobvu Safari grâce à leur dévouement et à leur volonté de rendre votre séjour mémorable !
L'équipe peut vous aider à organiser plusieurs choses, notamment les transferts, l'achat d'objets d'art locaux et des activités pour soutenir les communautés locales.
Dans notre forfait, nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier de 2 safaris par jour : un tôt le matin à l'ouverture du parc national et un l'après-midi se terminant en safari de nuit. La faune est très active avec des félins (lions et léopards), des hippopotames, des oiseaux incluant le guêpier carmin, des éléphants, des buffles, des antilopes, des crocodiles et tant d'autres animaux !
Le chauffeur-guide est très compétent et vous apprend beaucoup de choses sur l'environnement de la région. Nous revenons avec beaucoup de souvenirs et de photos !
Nous en profitons de l'occasion pour remercier :
- Nicolas pour son accueil chaleureux et son déjeuner surprise en pleine nature,
- Daniel pour avoir été notre super chauffeur-guide aidé de Fred et Timo pour les safaris de nuit,

The place is beautiful with a view on the lagoon where you could see a lot of animals. The staff was really friendly. The lodges were very comfortable with an amazing view. The food was excellent. The safaris were interesting and we saw a lot of animals. The guide explained us very well about the animals and the nature. We also had a very nice surprise at the end of our stay. They also did a birthday cake and all the staff sang for me. I highly recommend this place!

Njovu Safaris truly feels like a second home. The remarkable brothers and owners, Thomas and Nicolas, made our stay exceptional. We relished delicious meals and had a delightful time during our safaris. Accompanied by two adults and two kids (ages 15 and 6), we spent four nights in the Lion and Buffalo accommodations. Our wholehearted recommendation goes to Njovu Safaris, where we were pleasantly surprised with an impromptu safari lunch featuring a breathtaking leopard sighting. The team's excellence and the chef's culinary skills truly added to the overall fantastic experience.

Fantastic! could not fault it. This was our 5th trip to Southern Africa and these 3 days were very good indeed. The food was first class - we had to ask for less at lunchtime. The facilities were superb and we had possibly the best guide ever in Godfrey. Bill was very attentive in the dining area and had a good sense of humour. There were some animals to watch from the dining area both in the day and in the evening when the lights came on. I think we saw all the animals we could have wished for and Godfrey knew so much about every aspect - he also made a very good cup of tea at the morning break and produced a nice cold beer at sundowner time. The game drives were all very good indeed. In short, we really enjoyed everything and were sorry to leave.
