Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer, liebevolle Einrichtung, relativ ruhig, gutes Frühstück und Essen. Hier stimmt alles. Sind zum zweiten Mal hier. Ist etwas ab von den Attraktionen und vom Nightlife, aber die Anbindung an U Bahn und Bus ist gut.

Firstly, I apprecate your kind words in regards to the hotel, the location and transport links. Furthermore, I am personally shocked and dissapointed whilst reading your review. I am truly sorry to discover the several challenges you have experienced during your stay and especially the lack of customer service. I regret that this was not brought to my attention during your stay. I would have personally managed the situation to make sure you could enjoy a relaxing stay. Unfortunately, I have to acknowledge we had technical problems with the air-conditioning during the week of your stay. The rooms affected were sorted in a timely manner but unfortunately it took more than one day. Nevertheless it should have never had such a big influence. After investigation I could see that you we were fully booked during the time which did not allow us to relocate you. Unfortunately at the time of check-in we were unable to discuss a change of room type. After receiving your review, I had a meeting with all our members of staff. I did reiterate the basics of good customer service with our receptionists in particular. The way you have been approached is unacceptable and it is opposite to the service we are known for since the opening in April this year. This cannot happen again. I would appreciate if you could provide me further feedback on your experience. Via that way, I am in touch with you personally. Should you return to London I would welcome the opportunity of providing you with an adjusted room rate or a free upgrade and an extra personal touch. Looking at transportation from Heathrow...what zone is the Lansbury in? What would be the best way to travel from the airport?
Agree with the last answer although depending on your personal circumstances you might prefer a taxi from Green Park to the hotel. The restaurant at the Lansbury is very good; lots of eateries in Canary Wharf but none better that the hotel`s - enjoy your stay.

Yes there are hair dryers in the bathroom. If there is a problem just ask at reception. The staff here are amazing and will sort anything out for you. Enjoy your stay
