Dear Guest, many thanks for your feedback - we are very sorry to hear the Royal Alexandra didn't meet your expectations on this occasion. In regards to staff at meal times - we always have a restaurant supervisor on duty and should guests raise any issues whatsoever, Vito and his team will do their best to resolve immediately. Guest happiness is priority and staff will always do everything they can to accommodate. In reference to your room - We are sad to hear of the issues raised, we do kindly ask guests to mention matters to reception at the time so they can be resolved there and then, another more suitable room may have been offered to yourselves should one be available at the time. Bottle bins are not emptied by our staff until the following day to minimise guest disturbance so the noise you recall may have been from a neighbouring property however management do pass on their apologies for any inconvenience caused. Once again the noise of breakfast being set up may have come from a neighbouring hotel as breakfast tables are set directly after dinner service the night before for efficient service, breakfast is also at 8am which also indicates the noise may have been from outside - once again we do pass on our apologies and hope you will choose to return in the future, many thanks for your invaluable feedback and best wishes for 2017 GUEST RELATIONS

Dear Guest, we are so sorry to hear you are not fully satisfied with your recent holiday at the Royal Alexandra. We are sad to hear of the issues with your room - Unfortunately due to the busy period and peak time in Blackpool it is sometimes not possible to allocate another room due to being at full capacity - we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please note that we at Blackpool Promotions are always available at any point throughout your stay to discuss issues with your holiday, once notified of your further dissatisfaction we may have transferred you to one of our sister hotels within our group. The Royal Alexandra is currently under way with constant refurbishment, earlier on in the year we completed a lower groundfloor section of rooms to a lovely modern standard and we aim to roll this same standard out to the rest of our guest bedrooms in due course so please bear with us whilst these exciting changes are made. In reference to your room being hot - during the time in which you stayed it was very mild with warm ambient temperatures so it can be difficult regulating a suitable temperature for all throughout the building - fans are available from reception upon request. We are pleased you ventured to our nightly entertainment and enjoyed the cabaret - we have some great artists visiting the hotel throughout the 2017 season. In reference to our staff - we apologise if you felt our staff were rude and un helpful - the Royal Alexandra usually gets very good comments regarding excellent service as reflected in many great Tripadvisor reviews. We will be sure to speak with our team to ensure our usual excellent standard of service is upheld - thank you for bringing matters to our attention. We are all very happy to hear you and your family had such a great visit to the Royal Alexandra, in regards to your room it is great you were comfortable - we are in the process of refurbishments here at the hotel and aim to upgrade all of our guest bedrooms to a fabulous modern standard, please bear with us whilst these exciting changes are made! Special requests for a slightly larger room can be made at the time of booking (however please note requests unfortunately cannot be guaranteed) However staff will always do everything they can to accommodate. In regards to room issues - we do kindly urge our guests to notify us at the earliest possible convenience of any issues whatsoever so they can be rectified there and then to ensure a more pleasurable holiday. Room cleanliness matters would usually be dealt with immediately by management once notified. Our team will always do their best to accommodate and once made aware of your dissatisfaction will always try and resolve immediately, as a resolution another more suitable room may be offered like the one in which you received or if there is further dissatisfaction - a transfer to one of our sister hotels may be arranged.
