How did anyone find the transfers from the airport? We are travelling with 2 small children and hoping it’s not terrible or will book private?
Ive booked resort hoppa for 3 people and it was £60 return
Hi, the transfer from Palma is about an hour to Cala D’or. We usually rent a car via Centuara Car Hire. There is a mini bus at Palma airport to Centuara Car Hire. From their offices it is about 45 mins drive. Their rates are reasonable. In mid - High season, there is a direct bus (red bus) from Palma airport to Cala D’or no A 51 Airport direct to Cala D’or. In low season it stops at Campos and you get the 501 to Cala D’Or.
We haven’t used taxis but I think they are up to 80 euros each way approx. If you have young children it may still be worth it if you do not drive.
Hope this helps you. Enjoy your holiday.
I just booked a taxi. No messing about. Like you I have 2 young kids . Around €130 return
My kids are a little older, but we didn't find the journey too long. We had a nice air conditioned coach that was easy to find at the airport, so it was an easy and comfortable journey.
It was really ok, it's not that big of AirPort, so it was easy to find your bus and it was not a long ride..
For us it was not a problem! Enjoy!
The transfer is an acceptable length. I had a 7 and 10 year old and they were fine. Late evening and early morning transfers probably helped though! It just depends how restless your children get within an hour of travel in a vehicle.
