It is some considerable distance from the main railway station. You would do better to catch a bys to the waterfront and then It is fairly central to most stops once you get to the waterfront. Getting to that area by taxi when we arrived was a 20minute drive from the station.

It is a 30 min walk either along the wazerfron or with a little detour through the pedestrian precinct in the city centre!

I wouldnt know why a taxi should take as long as the other contribution says.
