We are considering a trip for the first time. But have som worries as a number of visitors have complained about low quality food calling it "lousy" ... Doesn't sound too good and it stands in contrast to a sports activities holiday.
Please, comment on the "food problem" ...
Someone pointed out that you need to bring money all over and can't charge on the room. Thought "all-inclusive" means everything is paid for ...
What are the extra costs and how much is it ... ?
(family of 4 children 5-14 yrs.)
I didnt find the food lousy - it was okay.
Good questions :)
To be honest there´s only 2 good restaurant on the resort and it´s not the all inclusive restaurant called "Atlantico". At least not to my tast (im vegetarian).
"Atlantico" has a buffet, but i never eat there. I simply want better quality than what they are offering.
BUT - the "Pool Bar" and "El Lago" are better. At the "Pool Bar" they have great salads, homemade pizza, vegetarian food, and canarian potatoes and padron peppers (both great as a snack), so it´s not as bad as it might seem, not at all.
Everybody´s standard are different. If you´r into quality instead of quantity I will definitely recommend 2 restaurants in the town of La Santa (only 1,8 km away from the resort). They are called: Amendoa and Alma!
You dont have to use money more almost everything. But something are not free. Let me give you some excamples:
You can rent a bike for free, mountainbike or citybike but if you a racer to practice something special - some of them has a rent price.
You can swim at all the 3 olympic pool here for free and hang by the leasure pool all day, but if you want to go on a trip to hang at the beach, it costs money since its on the other side of the island.
Almost all of the different erent activities are free. It´s great and easy, just download the free app to see the different activities and join them.
Things that cost:
If you use the spa here, you have to pay something to get in, and treatments here are also not free (massage etc.)
If you want to play tennis or batminton you get the rackets and the lanes for free, you have to buy some balls (I actually always bring them from home, because they don´t weigh anything).
But if you play mini-golf you get both clubs and balls, so that´s for free.
So to sum it all up:
If you´r using the resort like me - you never have to pay for anything, becides the food, that yes, you can eat here. If you like to cook you can also buy grosseries at the supermarket and cook in all the rooms :)
This place is amazing. I would always recommend it :)
-Hope my answers were helpful (sorry for the spelling).
The food in all restaurants is excellent. Besides, you can buy all you need in the supermarket and prepare your own food if you like. All inclusive means sport not food and restaurants. You will love it!
I would’t buy all inklusiv but instaed choose other restaurants - also restaurants in town La Santa.
We never go all inclusive. It is much more interesting to dine in different places. We enjoy the on-site restaurant El Lago, which is very good. But you should visit restaurants in the nearby villages too. Recommendations: "Grillen" and "Amendoa" - 7 and 5 min by taxi. Have a great vacation!
Erhalten Sie eine Antwort von den Mitarbeitern und früheren Gästen des Club La Santa - all sports inclusive.
