We had a lovely night in Stori, Bala. It has some a great local Welsh craft beer. It's not a pub it's more of a niche bar great for couples and friends having a relaxing chill out with excellent local drinks and nibbles. I liked the atmosphere we had a cosy corner with candle light!

Lovely place (bigger than it looks) great selection of craft beers - as a bonus we stumbled upon an open mic night, great atmosphere and doggy friendly!

If you're staying in Bala, you really need to visit STORI. The choice of beer and cider is excellent, the staff are so friendly and the place has a warm, friendly feel about it. We returned a few times and just felt so comfortable and relaxed there. The owner took time to chat to us and gave us a great tip about where to find a good breakfast. The shop sells a huge selection of alcohol and local foods. Call in if you're in Bala - you won't be disappointed.

…and so much more: I bought some other posh local produce-ish gifts in here too. But back to the beer: they’ve got loads, and so much of their selection is super local. CHEAP too! A wonderful place, gutted I have not been before!

What an amazing place...Craft beer, Welsh produce, nibbles and fine wine... what more could you ask for sharing the cosy atmosphere with fun friends and our little dog was also very, very welcome (paws on the floor)... what a special find!

This place could be amazing, minus the staff, really cool places and amazing beverages, but all the staff looked like it was too much effort to serve anyone.
We were asked to move seats as there was a guitar club, which we didn’t mind at all, then we watched two other groups sit at the same table. Really shame!

We attended the shop to buy some local craft beers. The shop had a great variety of goods including gins, rums as well as beers. At no point during our visit were we acknowledged by the staff. Even when we came to pay, they continued to speak to another customer. The staff were impolite and inattentive- such a shame as it had come highly recommended.

Visited twice now, having made a detour on both occasions to visit. This place is trying to tap in to the Craft movement but the selection of beers on both occasions were mediocre at best. I understand the intention is to source local beer but they need to branch out if they are going to properly do it justice. The owners have a lot to learn and need to be a bit more humble about it. Far too many rules to properly sit back and enjoy! Good prices however. The owner clearly has his favourite spot sitting in the front window seat and it would’ve been nice had he had offered it up rather than direct us to a table right at the back of the shop. The welcome and service (other than the paid workers) was chilly on both occasions. Would return if in the area but wouldn’t go out the way again.

Incredible shop with a huge array of craft and traditional beers, and a few on tap to enjoy there too! Lovely venue and even nicer owners. Very passionate and considerate too, both with their products and customers!

What a lovely discovery. Popped in for a quick drink on Friday, made very welcome by the friendly staff.
Beer top quality, vast variety if beers wine and whiskey to buy.
Plenty of choice of ales to buy and drink in the shop. Will definitely be returning and will recommend to all family and friends that pass through Bala
