Very comfortable. Great hosts. Fantastic breakfasts. Location super for local area. Lots of parking & handy village shop nearby. Would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful time at Beechwood House cocktail bar in Dolgellau while enjoying drinks with friends. The layout with its various rooms added to the charm and made it a great place to socialize. Being in the center of Dolgellau, it's incredibly convenient.
The atmosphere was just perfect - relaxed and welcoming, and a bonus for dog owners, it's dog-friendly! But what truly stole the show were their Zombie cocktails; they were simply amazing! If you're in Dolgellau and looking for a memorable night out, Beechwood House is the place to be.

Great little bar, lovely decor and generally got a cool vibe to it. Exactly the type of place that the town needed, as the majority of other places are pubs. The bartender was really nice, and you could tell he put a lot of effort into each cocktail, just look at them! People have mentioned the price, but realistically that’s what you pay for a cocktail, and you don’t mind paying that anyway when they look and taste as good as they did! If we visit Dolgellau again we’ll deffo pop back in :)

Bartender was brilliant and friendly, the cocktails tasted and were presented beautifully!
We loved the aesthetics in the rooms of the bar, they were very modern and fun.

Our music is based on what a majority of our customers want on a Friday and Saturday night. Unfortunately we're unable do dissatisfy a majority of our customers because 'you' wanted Stereophonics on the stereo. Have you been to any other cocktail bars and/ or restaurants where you just requested music to suit your taste (?), and then given them a poor star rating because you couldn't get your own way? Didn't think so. 🤦🤣
Beechwood House doesn't suit everyone, however 99% of our customers love it here!! Anyway, "Have a nice Day"

Visited here in late summer as a couple, I was so excited to find a cocktail bar as I love cocktails. When we walked in we found the Decor is dark and a bit weird. Overall cocktails were ok but Ive had better, very expensive for what they are. Wasn't for us! Bit disappointing .

Hi there, thanks for your review. So sorry you didn't enjoy your visit. Our theme and decor is something that people usually love, we use the lighting to set different moods and atmosphere in each room, these can all be adjusted should the customers ask. The cost of our drinks reflects the prices we pay for our fresh produce, syrups, and premium spirits. We usually ask; that if anyone is unhappy or disappointed in any of their drinks, then please speak to a member of staff whilst you're there. Hopefully we will see you again.

Cocktails must be experienced to be believed - try the Espresso Martini! Relaxed atmosphere not unlike being on holiday abroad. Staff very attentive and friendly. This is a must if visiting Dolgellau.

This place is amazing. Fell on it by accident when making a quick pit stop in the town. So glad we did. We will definitely be back and will be telling all our friends about it. Quirky and relaxing with amazing cocktails and something to see in every little room.

What a gem of a place! This quirky, relaxed cocktail bar is one of Dolgellau's treasures! The decor and ambience is perfect, with a huge choice of cocktails and coffees.
The owner is very friendly and efficient and knows all there is to know about cocktails. By far the best Dark and Stormy cocktail I've tasted - we'll definitely be going back!
