We had a great time puzzling our way through the School of Sorcery. Jodie was a great host - warm welcome, pitched the clues and help just right and very friendly to the children in the group. She went out of her way to make this really fun for all. Great attention to detail in the rooms and needed everyone to work together to solve the puzzles. We would love to do another.

Me and my friends did school of sorcery and spellbound back to back we had such an amazing time
Jodie our games master did amazing she gave the best hints without giving us a direct answer - she definitely added to our enjoyment on our night

The best ever trap’s host I’ve ever had! So polite and enthusiastic, his story telling felt like I was there!Mattyboydabest! Is he a wizard or not, wouldn’t know because he’s acting was so good! Took our 14 year old and 9 year old for their birthday. Both took two friends with them. The older children did the Spellbound room and the younger ones did the Amazonia room. We all had a great time. Our host was Jodie who was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend. Good value for money too.

Loved the escape room! Can see a step towards more tech for Trappd and was amazing. We have done all of your rooms (inside ones anyway) and cannot wait for a new one

I took my 14 year old son to the escape room in Chester House today as he'd been so looking forward to trying one and a massive Harry Potter fan too....
When we arrived the two members of staff were clearly having a disgruntled moment.... so we quietly left for 5 mins and allow that too pass...
The escape room experience itself was ok - with puzzles to solve and helpful clues if needed (we didn't escape). It was different to the one I have done previously which was had quite a few more automated jumps and activities
However... after returning home I received a call later this afternoon to see if either of us had "accidentally taken something that belonged to the room and not to us"....we didn't but the inference and tone that was used was really quite unpleasant- making me feel that we had stolen something from the room - going on to "explain" that some people "occasionally take things not belonging to them"..... again an inference of theft.... it had really upset me
We brought nothing but our selves home - my leggings only have a pocket for my phone and key!
Overall the experience has left one feeling really quite disappointed and very flat - at £60 for the two of us I really expect far more of an actual experience and far less of the nonsense phone call....

Hi there, We are so sorry to hear of your poor experience with us at Chester House, Unfortunately sometimes groups do happen to pop things in their pockets to carry round during the game and completely forget about them so we always drop a call to double check if it's a vital prop :) if you have not already please do contact our Area Manager on jodie@trappd.com to provide further details into your experience so we can investigate this further and get it resolved for you! :)

Went to do school of sorcery with Jodie as out game master. Brilliant room and cannot wait for the 3rd room to open up at Chester house.

My first time at an escape room and not knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised. A very pleasant and helpful host and some great problems to get us thinking.... and to top it off I got to cast a couple of spells🧙♂️

Visited Trapp’d Escape Room at Chester House and did the School of Sorcery Escape Room. Was warmly created by staff members and had excellent service from Tilly who helped support us and run the game. She did an incredible job despite being her first time running our room. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity out!!!

We really enjoyed this room - the room theme was fantastic and very immersive. The puzzles were good and one puzzle type we had not seen before which was really cool. Big shout out to our Games master Jamie who was friendly and attentive and made our experience that bit better. Overall we had a wonderful time at Trapp’d (as we always do!)
