Fun place, but not for a long visit. Clean, comfortable property and rooms. Staff are very attentive
especially in waterpark area. Waterpark convenient designed to monitor kids on different rides at once. Only negative is food. You have to purchase all foods separately and it is expensive and not very good. But resort is close to shopping so you can drive to get meals. Also you need to pay separate fee each time housekeeping tidies up...or just do it yourself. Seems like I should be able to get a little more than a room and entry to the water park for the $.

They won't be seeing me or my family again...between "nickel and diming" their "guests" by charging them $60 (plus tax) to check into a room PRIOR to 4 p.m. that is already available--which you either pay, or have them hold your belongings to use facilities and wait again on line at 4 pm to check in; plus wait again for available staff to retrieve your stored belongings while your brown bagged food has been stored w/out refrigeration (because the food options there are awful--salt, sugar, carbs and overpriced); and on top of that they're charging you a DAILY $60+ resort fee--when other than the obvious amenities, they'll charge you extra, plus you have to bag your own daily trash (unless you're staying over several days to qualify for room service?) Considering we had a suite for 2 nights (and even if it was a regular room) we had to pay the early check-in fee for convenience's sake and to enable us to store our food safely in the room refrigerator. Our room keys kept malfunctioning and we had to go downstairs several times over our stay to have them reset. We had to bag our own trash daily. Several times when I went to the front desk, no one was there and I had to yell to get someone (no bell on counter even), and when I called on the phone a few times after I booked the room to ask what was the 'upgrade' information they were emailing me about (no details in the email), the phone just rang and rang...not even voicemail. The food options there are unhealthy and overpriced, which we already learned from experience and was why we brought our own food. Even the vendor snack machine had only sugar, salt and carb options. AND THEY CHARGE YOU THE DAILY $60+ RESORT FEE...FOR THIS??!!

Been here when it first opened and it was an awful experience. Here 5 yrs later , elevators don’t work. Waited 15 mins to get one to come to floor, bathroom dirty and mold on curtain . This will be the last time .

Not satisfied with the experience for the price being charged. The room was clean and the staff available were very nice. But there was not enough staff around. No one was available to pick up at guest services or concierge when calling. we had to go downstairs to make any requests. No one came to the room from house keeping to offer towels we had to go downstairs and one of the front desk personnel had to bring the towels. The water park was cold, I had to ask several times for them to turn the heat up, this is not an issue at any other indoor water park I visited. The bar in the water park at one point had only 1 bar tender and it was very busy so the wait for a drink was 20-30 minutes, unacceptable. Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, there were a group of kids running the entire building for 2 hours, called security and nothing. Never again.

I really do not understand the very positive reviews that this waterpark has received. I have read several along with the highly negative ones. The truth is somewhere in between but frankly It is simply not worth the very large room expense coupled with the high food prices that are OK if you are very selective as to where and what you want. So I will rate it as poor to average. With three adults and two kids we managed ok in our two bedroom suite. At least it was reasonably clean as far as we could tell. But at $1500 for two nights, it should have been better. But this is an overpriced, understaffed and just plain average so called resort at best. And you don't need 2 days. If this is ok with you, then you will probably enjoy it especially if you have young children who love anything to do with water parks like this. And for all the people that had really poor experiences, Kartrite management does not seem to care to make changes.

I was able to setup our first homeschool group to this resort. We had over 30 rooms booked, the resort was clean, waterpark had almost all the rides open and it was clean inside. the rooms were spacious and clean. the staff was respectful and helpful.
Many of the youth enjoyed the arcade area but did notice they were a bit short staffed. We did not eat at the hotel, but many did, it was a bit pricey but nothing more than other indoor waterparks and I was told the food was good.

We stayed at the hotel all weekend, and spent 3 days in the waterpark! It's amazing - super clean!
Staff was friendly. It isnt as big as Kalahari but we LOVED it, staff was nicer - and its cleaner.

Our favorite part of this experience was the welcoming staff. The courteousness and accommodating staff made the stay awesome . Special mention to front desk ‘s Gloria who took care of us from beginning to end ! Also to lifeguard David (chapo) who was very helpful when one of our little ones misplaced herself . All the lifeguards were actually paying attention with their eyes as the kids swam around . Miguel from the arcade was also very helpful during our time in the arcade ! Thank you all ! Our kids had “ the best birthday ever !”

Absolutely incompetent staff took the word of incompetent trolls who harassed us.They offered nothing but grief for what they did and my son lost all the money on his card due to them.

There were 5 families, we had no reservation... i know that is bad, but they made it work. Food was great and they were kind enough to move tables to get us all togeher.
