Reasonably priced wines. Friendly servers and flexible. Stop here if you like Zins. We joined the club. Nice setting, with good view.

So love J Dusi! I was introduced to this "special" winery 5 years ago by my best friend. I became a member and have introduced J Dusi to many friends who are now members also. I am such a fan of all their wine, but must admit I am a Pinot Grigo person. The best ever!!!! Everyone that works at the winery are so personable and fun. The wine is excellent and the location is the best!!! Janelle Dusi is an excellent winemaker that makes my family and friends coming back. Don't miss this wine tasting experience.

As a person who works in the Texas wine industry I have heard Janelle Dusi talk at a Texas association meeting and fell in love with her story. My traveling friend and I chose this as our first stop for a wine tasting and we were not disappointed. I especially liked the Pinot Grigio and rose . The young man who waited on us was very attentive (Janelle was away speaking at some conference , sorry to have missed her). A great start to our visit in Paso Robles!!!

I am a fan of the J Dusi rose. Rose all day, as they say! Don't miss this vineyard and a chance to sip wine in a STUNNING setting! It is one of my favs.

One of 9 wineries we visited on our recent trip to Paso (first time). Pleasant experience. Zin blends excellent taste and value (all reds were $42.00). Low-key, pleasant setting. Drank the 2017 Fiorento our first night home. PNP and paired well with jalepeno sausages. Expect to continue to buy from them.

Owner Janelle Dusi is truly hands on! Not only does she make great wine (she made her first wine at age 12 and got honorable mention!) but she ensures that every guest has a first class experience tasting the Dusi wines. The last two times we have been there she has personally carried out the case of wine to our car and also greeted us and served us when we arrived! She is a success story as a business woman because of her hard work, her knowledge of wine making, her high standards of friendly customer service and the constant improvements she is making to the winery. Way to go Janelle. Keep up the good work!

J Dusi is one of our favorite wineries! Their wines are delicious, the team is always so friendly and the setting at the tasting room is beautiful!!! A lovely way to spend part of your day.

No matter the limitations due to Covid, J Dusi ensured we had a fabulous time. Hearing about the history and planting of vines since 1924, added to the depth of the reds we experienced. The Zinn tasted like experience and velvety pepper taste made us buy more than 1 to take home. Do not miss this!

Tastings are $20 per person but we spent nearly $400 on wines, so we were not charged any tasting fees. Because we bought a case, we got 10% off our the wine purchases.
All of their red wines are $42; whites are $20.
We were not initially given a Tasting Menu. We were expected to download it from the scan thingie which didn't work on either of our cell phones. We therefore requested and were given a paper Tasting List.
Obviously, we liked the wines which are aged in stainless steel barrels, not oak. From this I learned that the reds that I don't normally love (Zin, Syrah and Petite Sirah), I do like when they have been aged in s/s. Apparently, for those varietals, I prefer the less complex wine that comes from s/s barrels.
Arnie was very knowledgeable and personable. With each wine he poured, he gave us tips on food pairings. When we concluded our business, he carried the case of wine to our car for us, which we very much appreciated as I can't carry anything heavy and my husband was on his cane that day, leaving him with only one free hand.
The Tasting Menu included five wines but the pours were really small.
Suggestion: Provide guests with a carafe of water and and paper cups (as Dubost Ranch Winery does) so that we can rinse out the wine glasses between pours.
They have a nice little gift shop.
I had originally thought I'd do a 5-star review but the next day we went to Dubost and ordered the best Cheese Board I've ever had in my life; and it was only $10. When I think back to our wine tasting experience at Eberle in August, I have to acknowledge that this (J Dusi) just wasn't much fun. I don't know how Dubost and Eberle were able to make tastings fun, but J Dusi failed to deliver on fun. It was more ... I don't know; more business, less fun; almost a sterile experience. (Emotionally sterile, if that makes any sense.)
We will enjoy the wines we bought and will no doubt return some day. We typically visit the area once or twice a year. We liked the wines but J Dusi did not climb to the top of our "favorite wineries" list.

We had heard a lot about this winery and were excited to try it. It has a small outdoor seating area surrounded by all of their vines. But other parts of the facility has room to seat larger parties. It is a pet friendly place and has a cute lab that walks around patrolling the grounds. It’s a place where you can bring your own food and enjoy your tastings. But the tasting is where we ran into a little trouble. We did the Wine Line, where we were shuttled from winery to winery for a certain price and our tasting was included. We got the feeling that we were being rushed through our tasting because of that status. We were given very quick, short explanations of the wines and we were not offered a chance to revisit any of the wines. The wines were a bit pricey compared to other vineyards in the area but it was the service that left a bad taste in our mouths.
