Once arrived in Sri Lanka, you are simply overwhelmed by the diversity of the country and the opportunities that are open to you. But as much as you can do, it is difficult to decide what you really do at the end. Of course you want to see a lot, but an absolute no go was for us to join the regular tourists routes and to be sheduled from one tourist hot spot to another. Colombo is usually just a arrival and departure destination but these guys made colombo one of our highlights - absolutely unexpected but it was. They took us on a culinary, historical and exciting journey through colombo that exceeded all our expectations. Friendliness, hospitality and helpfulness is one thing, but you could really feel the passion and joy of them while taking us on the journey through Colombo. These guys love their job and you don't see and feel that too often, especially in the tourist industry.
After a great time and a full and happy tummy - after all the amazing things we got to know and taste from the Sri Lankan cuisine - our journey continued further into the heart of the island and as we already said before, we don't want to follow the regular streams of tourists...... Sensory indulgences shared all their experiences with us and some awesome insider locations and spots on the island.
I am sure that we alone or within a holiday package tour never got to see those places.
Really an awesome bunch of people and beside the fact that they just put in a huge amount of effort to give the best experience they even try to be environmentally friendly and sustainable. An incredibly interesting concept -
and for a really reasonable price!
We had an incredible time and can only recommend sensoryindulgences to everyone and wish you continued success!

Sri Lankan food is trending globally! And with this, there are an increasing number of food tours available in Colombo with passionate foodies eager to showcase the local street food scene to local and foreign tourists alike.
Brindley who runs this tour, has been working in the tourism sector for many years, as a GM of a hotel, and now exclusively focusing on experiences all over the country. It is this that makes the difference, not only is he fun, professional and responsible, he has both depth and breadth of knowledge on a wide variety of topics when it comes to how our cuisine ties into history, culture, geography, and people and has a great knowledge of the area where he conducts his food coma walk including knowing the people at the various road side vendors. He is a great cook too! Highly recommended !

The team of Sensory Indulgences are simply amazing. Inherent with knowledge, passion and armed with a great sense of humor takes you on a journey of the whole island through enigmatic yet simple heartfelt experiences from cuisine, culture to history and gives you true immersion into what is Sri Lanka.
Definitely the best choice to for a discerning traveller interested in unravelling a true experience. Udaya & Brindley are the go to Maestro's for an out of this world journey into Colombo.

Done a few cookery courses before but this by far the best! Dush and the team were excellent - really fun, knowledgable and helpful. Loved being taken to the market and then getting stuck into the cooking. Laughed, learnt, ate well and some great cooking along the way. Even if you're not a confident cook have a go and have a whole new experience!

Brindley’s Food Coma Tour was our highlight while staying in Colombo for only a short time. We learned a lot about local food, the city, the people and even history. He is more than passionate about food and his tour. You always have the feeling to be safe and to try one of his favorites at unique places in different communities. This makes it not only delicious but also inclusive. Thanks a lot.
