Mihi did a great job providing me with a tour of Sri Lanka. The first two days were especially great, visiting Sigiriya, climbing both Pidurangala and Sigiriya rocks, as well as an elephant safari and time in a traditional village.
The roads and the traffic is a challenge and I was glad that Mihi and his driver made the travel painless.
Was also nice to visit Kandy but it was a long way to travel and not a huge amount to see, although the history of the city and surrounds was good to experience.
Overall it was a great trip and I was very pleased with how Mihi put it together for me.

We enjoyedour awesome tour with our guideShehan Koshila, he spoke very good English and had a wonderful sense of humor. Upon our request, (beyond temples) a car mini Safari, we saw, monkeys’ crocodiles, water buffalo, elephants, a endless variety of birds, including painted Starks egrets, andBeautiful male peacocks.
She has historical and environmental knowledge was top-notch

Mihi (pronounced MeHe) – 2 days in Colombo – Sri Lanka is a country that our private touring group knew nothing about – Mihi, our guide changed that entirely. He took us from the city to the rural areas of Sri Lanka,stopping to enjoy everything in between. He explained the historical significance of the Dutch, he explained the present day significance of cinnamon and spices and the huge shipping industry that has been created. We also ate at 2 great restaurants- Mihi was a thoughtful very well master-degree-educated and comfortable person to be around. Everyone in my group strongly recommends using Mihi as a guide for any aspect of Sri Lanka

Let me start with the fact that I met Mikha back in 2018 at FIFA in Russia. We immediately found a common language, because... he is very friendly (like many in Sri Lenka), very smart and overall a very nice person. He speaks English well, so he will be a worthy interlocutor in language practice)
And so, 5 years later, my family and I planned a trip to this wonderful country as savages. And then I write to my old friend and he helps us organize a trip almost throughout the country! We were with small children and this was also taken into account. He found us a minivan, a driver, mapped out the route, and helped with hotels. In general, everyone was very pleased.
And the most important thing we encountered there: there was a feeling that everyone wanted to fool you, deceive you, inflate prices, etc. (Taxi drivers, sellers at the market, someone just sits in, supposedly “helps” and is waiting for money) So, this is where you need a trusted person who you can trust. Therefore, I wholeheartedly recommend Micah to resolve all issues.

Mihi planned a really great day out for a group of 10 of us from Hambantota port. He was courteous, knowledgable, accommodating and a very good tour guide who really cares about his customers
We saw the local life, a lovely old temple by the ocean, a peaceful canoe ride on a lake, tuk tuk drive, fruit bats, traditional lunch and a really great safari. We saw lots of different animals including several elephants which came up to our jeep which was just brilliant

Mihi met all of our needs whilst showing us an amazing Buddhist temple by the sea, took us on a boat trip on a lake, arranged tuk tuk rides and impromptu coconut water stop as well stopping by incredible fruit bars hanging from trees and then all topped off with a visit to a Safari Park where we saw a variety of animals including elephants lions zebras etc.

We booked a round trip with Mihi for this month in Sri Lanka and I must say, he exceeded our expectations and so much more. Apart from the most known places in Sri Lanka, he knew hidden places there that not a lot of people do not know that were breath taking and unique. We also realize that he has alot of contacts in Sri Lanka that made our trip go so much more smoother. With Mihi, not only did we feel safe to go whereever we wanted to go, but also felt like best friends hanging out. Throughout our trip, he was so friendly, supportive, effective and professional. I cannot recommend him enough for anyone who wants to visit Sri Lanka in the most authentic way. Mihi, we thank you so much for your support during our trip and will definitely come to back to Sri Lanka to explore it further with you.

What an incredible tour! My family and i visited Sri Lanka from the 7th-23rd of September. For the first week and a half, we used Lahiru for the tour and it was wonderful. Lahiru is very knowledgeable about all things Sri Lanka and is always willing to answer questions. I learnt so much about Sri Lanka! He went above and beyond to ensure my family and I had an unforgettable experience and we saw so much of Sri Lanka in a short amount of time. I will definitely be using Lahiru again for his tours and will definitely recommend!

My boyfriend (SO? Partner?) and I had Mihi take us around Sri Lanka for 11 days. I am more of an adventure traveler and often think to myself "If I only come this way once, I want to see it all". We started out in Colombo and made a circuit around the southern portion of the country. Colombo to Kandy, to Ella, to Udawalawa, to Galle and back up and out through Colombo. I only had 2 wish list items prior to my arrival, and the rest of our itinerary was prepared by Mihi. I would like to note that I went back and forth on what I wanted to do for a few months prior to my arrival as Mihi does help significantly with suggestions. He is endlessly patient, professional, and so friendly. He helped with hotels, has a great vehicle and ensured that we had a great time. We even hooked up my spotify account into the vehicle and sang our way across Sri Lanka!
I cannot express enough how fortunate we were to find him. He went above and beyond what a tour guide would normally do for a customer. His prices were very fair. It is hard to travel so far (USA) and find an honest person to deal with. 100% amazing guy. Mihi also has a partner - Kara who is his driver. Both of these guys made our trip so memorable and I feel have now become friends of ours. If I went back, there is no other guide I would use. If I went as a single female, I would travel with these two as I would know I was safe with them.
I wanted to visit Kandy and the Temple of the Sacred Relic- we visited Kandy. I didn't know where I specifically wanted to go beyond the Temple so Mihi had us see all of the big sites, and small local areas. At the Temple, Mihi had a relative who worked there as a tour guide and he brought us through. He carefully explained the culture to us, and he also knew that a special event would happen at a certain time. We were able to go into the temple as the window was opening to the Sacred Relic and for just a moment we were able to view this like a local. The flower offerings are an amazingly beautiful part of their culture.
I also wanted to take the train from Kandy to Ella. What an adventure that was! I followed advice of others and sat in the 3rd class car so we could have our widows open, and sit at the open doorway as we rode through the mountains and countryside. After Mihi brought us to the train tracks to see the train as it came into view on the 9 Arch bridge. We could feel the rumbling of the train as it was coming. I wanted to go on the safari at Udawalawe and here we had yet another amazing time. The peacocks and elephants were amazing. One friendly elephant likes to check out each safari rig and put his trunk in and give everyone a sniff.
He took us secret waterfalls that only locals know about. We had lunch at amazing small places, special coconut drinks on the side of the road. The list of places we went and memories we created is endless. Mihi has a friend with a tuk-tuk and he knew I just had to have a ride in one. So he set up another small tour for us that incorporated the ride into the historic residence in his home town. The black sand beach at Galle is amazing and we spent an afternoon there sipping on milkshakes and swimming.
At the end of our trip, when Mihi and Kara dropped us off at the airport, they refused to leave Colombo and return home until we notified them that we made it safely to our departure gates!

On a recent cruise we had a layover in Sri Lanka. We booked a day trip to a tea plantation in Kandy. We were lucky to find Mihi. He knows so much about Sri Lanka and the tea industry. It was a long drive but the driver was excellent even in the rain and Mihi told us a lot of information. As soon as we got home we planned another longer trip with Mihi. He had many suggestions and helped with the arrangements. We were in constant communication through WhatsApp. You can plan on a great time with Mihi as your leader.
