A trip to St Ives, a great experience with a wonderful guide, so knowledgeable & enthusiastic making our time there such a memorable one. Also, throughout the journey we were totally immersed with facts about Cornwall, such an interesting place, & well organised outing.

Cornwall Discovered looked after a large group of bridge players on holiday in Falmouth, of which I was a member. They had organised collecting us and delivering us back to Truro Station, our hotel accommodation, and 3 excellent tours. My favourite of which was to Trebah Gardens. Our tour guides were very well informed and entertaining and the coach drivers charming too. The Cornwall Discovered staff were enthusiastic and helpful with any special requirements.

Had a fantastic day out with Cornwall Discovered. Our tour hosts Katie and Zoe were brilliant, they clearly had lots of knowledge about Cornwall and right from the start were enthusiastic, professional and engaging.
The tour involved visiting Golant where we started kayaking into Fowey. We were able to stop to look around Fowey which was great having never been before. We kayaked back then had a great lunch before heading to Knightor Winery. We were given a great tour of the winery by David and the tasting was amazing. Loved how Zoe and Katie had planned their tours around visiting the hidden gems of Cornwall, not just the hotspots.
Overall would 100% recommend Cornwall Discovered.
The tour involved visiting Golant where we started kayaking into Fowey. We were able to stop to look around Fowey which was great having never been before. We kayaked back then had a great lunch before heading to Knightor Winery. We were given a great tour of the winery by David and the tasting was amazing. Loved how Zoe and Katie had planned their tours around visiting the hidden gems of Cornwall, not just the hotspots.
Overall would 100% recommend Cornwall Discovered.

I had a fantastic day out with Cornwall Discovered on a promotional Water & Wine Tour in the Fowey area. The team were knowledgable, super friendly, and are clearly passionate about exploring Cornwall.
I arrived by train at Par station, where I was met by Katie, Zoe and Eve who gave me a very warm welcome before we got in the minibus to head into Fowey for a walk around the harbour. I'm from west Cornwall so thought I knew the area quite well, but Katie & Zoe had lots of local knowledge to share and I'm so glad I've got to know this speical corner of Cornwall better!
We then headed over to the village of Golant for a morning of kayaking with Cornwall PaddleSUP. In a small group, we paddled up the river back to Fowey, with time to wander round the town before paddling back to Golant for a refreshing local lunch (providing a gluten free option for me which was great!)
In the afternoon we had a tour of Knightor Winery, and a tasting of their sparkling, white, rose and red wines which were absolutely delicious. Hearing from the winemaker David was so interesting; he was really friendly, knowledgeable and unpretentious.
I loved meeting the other people in our small group who joined us for the day, and the whole thing was a lovely experience that I highly reccomend. Thank you Cornwall Discovered!

Wow what a day!! We had the best day kayaking around the beautiful river fowey and then wine tasting at Knightor winery. The whole experience was flawless and enjoyable. Both Katie and Zoe made the day, with their enthusiasm and knowledge. I couldn’t recommend booking Cornwall Discovered enough to enjoy Cornwall or to celebrate a special occasion!

Just experienced a ‘Sampler Day’ from Cornwall Discovered. The day was hosted by Zoe and Katie (Directors and Co-founders) both are very professional, extremely knowledgeable and absolutely charming hosts. They have the determination to achieve a memorable visits to the many little ‘gems’ that lie in the St Austell Bay Area as part of their sustainability ethos.
COVID protection measures still being maintained.
The morning destination was to Pinetum Gardens, where the owner Mr Chang Li outlined his family history of expanding and developing the gardens. If you are a lover of gardens, this is one that will not disappoint, there is plenty to see and explore in this tranquil oasis.
(This is part of Zoe’s signature tour)
The afternoon destination was to Knightor Winery, another local surprise of a farm converted into a ‘Boutique Winery’ serving the owners two vineyards on the South Cornwall coast.
The wine production techniques were fully explained and were very educational and enlightening. The sampling afterwards was most enjoyable!!
It came as a very pleasant surprise as to the quality of the whole range of wines being produced from Sparkling Whites, through to Reds, excellent!
This was a lovely experience that can be thoroughly recommended to anyone looking for something different and special in a truly beautiful part of Cornwall.

Just got back from a super day out with the team. I thought I knew the St.Austell Area pretty well and all that goes on there but today I had one surprise after another through 'Cornwall Discovered' .
We started our day with a relaxed and enjoyable morning experiencing the peaceful "Pinetum Gardens". The entrance to the gardens is off the A390 and very close to the intersection with the St.Austell by pass, so it seemed crazy that we were so close to the action but it was all left behind as we entered the quiet and mystical zen of this special place. Zoe and Katie ensured that we got the best out of our visit by showing us around the ten different gardens on a certain route. We entered each garden from the intended aspect and didn't miss anything out. Everything flowed beautifully. Although the Japanese garden was my favourite it was lovely to see the Wildflower Meadow as we made our way towards the lake. Strolling around the lake was special too, a time to witness nature at its bests. The gardens had several picnic areas, and places of rest, all quiet and peaceful with plenty of space. Tranquil!
Time for coffee in the pretty courtyard before boarding our comfortable mini bus to take us a short ride through the Cornish lanes for a light lunch by the riverside at Galant.
Zoe and Katie made sure we were all kept safe during the trip by providing fresh water and ensuring discreet Covid precautions were in place. It is such a comfort when you know you are being looked after so well.
The afternoon was taken up with a a wine tasting experience at the Sustainable Knightor winery, situated in the centre of what was the China clay industry. Halfway between the north and south coast of Cornwall, very close to the Eden Project. The quiet Zen atmosphere of the morning transcended into a relaxed bubbly afternoon. We all chatted and enjoyed the wine tasting far more than we should have done. The owner was very passionate about the new Cornish Wines that were being developed and was equally keen for us to try them all. Starting with a Cornish Bubbly then moving on through the white wines, rose wines and finishing with a surprising good red. It was so refreshing to hear all about the process of the wine making in such an unpretentious way. Cornwall at its best!
Congratulations to "Cornwall Discovered". Zoe an Katie along with our lovely driver Deano looked after us so well. The door to door service was a luxury and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their enthusiasm for Cornwall was a delight.

I was lucky enough to be one of the first guests of the newly formed, and unique travel company, Cornwall Discovered.
I was collected in a minibus, ably driven by fun loving driver Dean (or Deano!) Founders of the company, Zoe and Katie, warmly greeted me. We met another lovely couple and headed to Pinetum Gardens, near St Austell. We were given a complimentary bottle of water, on which, I noticed that the plastic was 100% recycled. I learnt that this is just one of the aspects of Cornwall Discovered...to be sustainable and environmentally aware. I must add that I felt very safe with regards to Covid as hand sanitiser was available and face masks were worn in the minibus.
Mr Chung Li, owner of Pinetum, met us and gave us an introduction as to what we were going to see; how the 30 acres of grounds led from ‘room to room’ with focal points in each area. Zoe and Katie guided our small group around. We walked at a leisurely pace taking our time and lots of photos en-route! Zoe and Katie had certainly done their homework and pointed out features that might otherwise have been missed.
I especially enjoyed the walk around the lake. The dragon and damsel flies were darting over the water in front of us. I didn’t get a picture as they were too fast. But, I did spot a sculpture of one in a tree; just one of the pieces of art around the grounds.
It was lovely to see the wild flower meadow. These areas have become widely acknowledged as important habitats for our birds, bees, butterflies and bugs!
Our walk ended back in the courtyard where some great coffee and cake were purchased.
Katie and Zoe were lively and fun to be with. Their passion for the lesser known and out of the way places, truly make Cornwall Discovered.
