Appalling don't go , waited about 45 minutes for our sandwiches to arrive, tea then was cold, waited ages for fresh tea, cup was badly cracked, took awhile to bring another cup, kept asking for cakes by this time we had been sat for approximately 2hours, from arrival, cakes arrived some were frozen, along with the frozen scones, complained big time, to be offered 50% off and a complimentary afternoon tea, £17.50 for 4 finger sandwiches, no way !! We were then told they would be no charge. 5 star hotel, its a joke ! Will definitely not be back.

Tried to book the restaurant and spa for a birthday surprise, the hotel policy is £10 per person NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT unbelievable in this COVID CLIMATE. Obviously this Party of 12 will take our custom elsewhere.

Beautiful Spa

Fab Spa, great Massage Rachel was lovely. Just spent 3 nights at the hotel and used the spa facilities all the time, the Girls on the spa reception are lovely and friendly.

It's entirely possible that the they are suffering the same problem as so many places are at the moment, i.e. staff. Not that the staff were terrible because they were not. But they were a bit thin on the ground and some didn't seem very experienced. The other issue was dining, my wife and I were told we couldn't dine in the Orangery as it was fully booked and were steered to the Nu Sana restaurant. The food was nice, the service was good but there was only one other table occupied so the ambience was pretty much non existent. One staff member told us that were were trying to drum up business as it was a new facility and it didn't seem to us that the Orangery was close to full so we felt that maybe we had been not been dealt with totally honestly. Overall the place is stunning and in compensation for the lack of atmosphere a Manager (Gary I think) gifted us a bottle of wine.

Great Day Spa Experience From Start To Finish

We visited the spa as part of our stay across 2 nights. My partner had 2 treatments over those 2 days, the Body Bliss with Erin which was amazing and really helped her with all her aches and pains! And also had a facial with Naomi which must have been good as she made me buy all the products in the shop for her!

The spa area itself has 2 great pools, one a length pool and one hydrotherapy pool, they weren’t busy 90% of the time and even when busy it was still a great experience due to the size. We also used the spa garden which is an added extra and it comes with use of fluffy towels and gowns and use of herbal tea’s and hot drinks, it has a great infinity pool and seating area’s to relax so definitely worth the added extra. Our favourite spa and much needed after all these lockdowns.

Great hotel, spa & staff, disappointing breakfast.

99% perfect stay. Really friendly staff, AMAZING room/suite. Best spa facilities. The only reason I've not given 100% is because I was a little disappointed with breakfast. My husbands had no complaints, however I ordered scrambled eggs and they had clearly been done in a microwave 😖. Not a big deal to some but staying in a 5 star hotel I'd expect they would have been cooked on a stove top. The texture and taste is completely different when cooked correctly.
Not a complaint as such, just a little feedback for whoever cooks breakfast.

Perfect spa day inclusive of spa Garden access. Well worth it. Katie and the team looked after us beautifully. Treatments the next day we're lovely with just the right amount of pressure for me. Retail section is brilliant with great products like Neom (lovely). Thanks for a fantastic time

Waste of money and time

Terrible. This was given to me as a birthday present. Too many people in the spa. Facial was horrible. Oily. Therapist included a head massage which was awful. Mindfulness session was really dreadful. The music was very loud with feedback. I didn’t stay for lunch. I didn’t want to risk it

We booked a spa afternoon before the lockdown .when we booked we went to the restaurant to look at the menu as I can only eat certain foods .the menu was good .we had to Wait in till covid eyes had changed and booked for September 8 th .we were not informed the restaurant is now Indian and couldn't really eat mutch on the menu so had to pay 9 pounds for steak .if we had known about the restaurant change we would have cancelled

Expected more
As it wasn't my first visit to the Rockliffe Hall, I was expecting the same high standard as previously.
I booked a spa experience with some treatments, but they were so badly organised that the products I had on my skin after the facial, were complely washed off during the following experience so I didn't benefit from it fully.
