A perfect spot for a drink and dinner when we moored our boat for the night at the top of the lock. Service was great and all of our food was delicious. PERFECT onion rings and lattice fries. Perfect setting right on the water. A 5 min walk from the lock. We’ll be back !!

Great service. Food was exceptional. Beautiful ambience. We will definitely be returning as we all enjoyed our meals.

i got food poisoning here last week from the loaded-fries. i ended up in the hospital. the service was subpar. patio was nice

This restaurant is a hidden gem.The food is good and so is the service.What keeps us coming back is the location.Its a lovely place for a quiet meal with my husband or a great place to share a few hours with family and friends.The menu is quite varied and we’ve never come away disappointed.

Was out for a boat cruise with visiting friends & family from B.C. We started in Buckhorn. Stopped here because it had good reviews & it's great location as you approach the lock. Just had nachos & bevys. Quite good & decent portions. Will return perhaps to take in the fall colours on our next mini-cruise!

As a new local in the area we have been to Lock 27 numerous times from our seadoo and we just love it. The new managers are great and the staff are very friendly. This is our regular stop when on the sea doos for a cold pint or quick little bite.
Its our weekly stop and its a hidden little gem right by the lock and or hidden off Hwy 28.

Have been to this location numerous times over the years and was happy to hear it had reopened albeit with a new name. We arrived at 1:15pm on a Monday and were seated promptly, things went down hill from hear.
Our food and drink order was placed and after waiting an hour other than drinks nothing had arrived. Our waitress apologized for the delay indicating the kitchen had not been prepped properly and advised our food was coming shortly. 30 min later the waitress advised our food was still backed up in the kitchen and would be another 15 minutes, she suggested we could go elsewhere if we didn’t want to wait. At this point we asked if we could at least have our appetizers since they were only onion rings and garlic bread. After 10 min our waitress re-emerged with a salad (a main for one in our group) and a plate with something resembling garlic bread. She indicated she was now helping out in the kitchen. A short time later she again emerged with what we think were suppose to be tacos but in fact we’re taco shells filled with lettuce. Again she apologized indicating the kitchen was focusing on “larger “ table orders. This new excuse lasted less than a minute as we noticed a similar sized group who arrived 30 minutes after us served their meals. When we questioned this the waitress threw her arms into the air and said the kitchen is out of control and she couldn’t keep up with the excuses.
At this point after over two hours we threw in the towel and cancelled our remaining order and asked for our bill. When we went in to pay we were surprised to be told that we were one of many angry customers who left without food this day.
While I hate to write a review like this I felt I had little choice.
If new management does not address this poor food delivery and very poor food quality this restaurant will be out of business shortly. It would be fair to note that the location is great and for those who did manage to get food I’m sure some enjoyed their meals.

After a hot day on the golf course my wife and I wanted to go to a patio by the water. We have been here before but heard it had changed owners and was closed for the summer but the contrary. It was a Sunday in July and the weather was perfect for patio dining. The waitress Sarah was doing a great job carrying out her duties and we had a table by the water. While having drinks we watched some of the yachts coming through the locks. My wife had the fish & chips and I had the wings and fries. Both were excellent and good portions. I enjoy boating to the patio but space is very limited. Good luck to the new owners. I know we will be back.

First a great spot off the busy highway right by the waters edge, restaurant has recently been renovated and staff are friendly and polite.
Food is delicious and prices are reasonable, girlfriend and I both had an alcoholic beverage and meal for just over $50.
Can't beat the ambiance if you love sitting on the deck by the water!!

Again this year run by new owners. Patio overlooking the channel is always great. Place was fairly busy and to our surprise they had enough staff to get service. Food portions are small and a bit on the expensive side. Therefore so far so good and acceptable. But was spoils the experience is the quality of the food. The chicken legs are heavily battered and salted to death. The hamburger patty is tasteless and dollar store quality.
