Stopped in for a fresh custard-berry pie and to check out the rest of the offering in the store. Plenty of fresh pies available, though if you want a pie for sure, order online and one will be reserved for you. Otherwise, you take your chances.

Stopped along the way to Squamish for a break. Fantastic little market inside. Delicious waffles outside and super friendly staff. Had a strawberry pie in a jar that was to die for. Did not participate in the self pick berries as it started raining.

Enjoyed walking thru the beautiful flower Garden. We started out with breakfast of Blueberry Waffles and fresh whip cream very yummy. Then walked thru the flower garden and took a seat in the garden relaxed enjoyed the flowers, then went to the gift shop and picked up some gifts and preserves. Then we checked out the winery and had nachos in the quaint tasting room. Next we went to the bakery and the fruit and veggies store, picked up some raspberry pastries and fresh berry, zucchini, peas and corn. Then we went next to that and shared a corn pizza delicious and finishes with berry ice cream. We had a wonderful day!

I kept seeing pictures on social media about this place with pictures of waffles piled high with berries and whipped cream and we finally went to try it out this past weekend.
Well, I was disappointed. The waffles? Meh. I can make the same waffles at home with maple syrup from Costco and my own fruit and it would probable taste the same if not better.
Then I though I would give their pies a chance -- went into a store and bought a bumbleberry pie for $21. That's right, $21. It wasn't anything special. For that price you'd think there'd be more berries in that pie but it was so underwhelming. If I paid a normal price it would be more accetpable, but $21. I was going to buy a frozen pie to bake at home but when I asked how long I can keep it in the freezer before I baked it, the woman who I asked was so condescending and said, "well just use your common sense. You see it's in a box that isn't sealed, so seal it, maybe wrap it in a bag before freezing so it will last longer." Really? That's how you treat your customers?
We are not going back.

Once a family oriented farm now an example of greed run rampant.
We (langley locals) were out recently for our first visit of the summer to Krause. We have been going multiple times a summer, and throughout the year, for at least 15 years. Before kids, now with them.
We have always had a special place in our hearts for this farm and have watched it grow from a somewhat small entity to the multiple pronged business it is now. I was quite proud of how they've found so many ways to expand their business and start more revenue streams. They have now however taken it too far.
On our last visit we kept experiencing things that just kept showing that money is the top priority now, not customers.
The biggest let down is the U pick. They have decided to stop charging by weight and now force you to buy their own buckets that are pre paid and then you fill them up. Ok, dumb and annoying, but ok I can deal with that. The greedy part is that everyone in your party has to purchase their own bucket. So a family of four wanting to pick a medium basket of berries ($18), you can't. You also have to buy at least 3 other $5 teeny tiny flats. WTF? The amount of people I saw walking around forced to spend an extra $15 - $25 for little plastic trays was ridiculous. What a way to kill the joy of a u pick experience. We won't be back for it. This should be changed back immediately.
So we order some farm fries to eat, like usual. You want some vinegar to put on those, gotta pay for that now. Vinegar. They're nickel and dimeing their customers now. Another low blow to the customer experience.
Prices have also jumped massively. I get that inflation is a thing, but the price jumps are not matching that. Much higher than inflation.
Anyone else remember the last few years of trying to charge people to sit in a play area with the chuckwagons? That didn't last, I wonder why.
It's a great farm, usually a fun experience to hang out at, but now we all just felt taken advantage of and left a bad taste and feeling. It went from a family farm to a Tourist Trap to lure the city folks to for a very expensive day at the farm.
We're now looking for another place to pick up berries as we can't support them any longer. I suggest you don't either, spend your money some where that wants YOU there, not just your money.

Visiting Vancouver, I went with a friend today to have a waffle and flight of wine. We each ordered a different flight, which had a good variety of wines. You can really taste the berries in their wines. You should definitely get a waffle; they were great. The man who explained the wines to us was very nice.

This review is for the waffle stand. I've been to Krause Berry Farms 3-4 times over the last few years and every time I'm disappointed by the wait and service at the waffle stand. Our visit in August 2021 was the last straw and I finally had to leave a review. We arrived on a Sunday morning shortly after the waffle stand opened. There were about 15 families ahead of us. It took over 45 minutes to order and receive our waffles. Krause Farms was only selling waffles with blueberry toppings that day and had 7 kids working behind the counter so it blows my mind that it took that long. The kids making the waffles were standing around and chatting. Even though they have about 15 waffle irons, the kids were only using 5-6 of them at any given time. Even though each kid had a station on the waffle making line, none of them seemed to hustle even though the line was getting longer. The young staff could really use some adult supervision. I've never seen anyone who looked older than 20 on the waffle line. The fresh fruit on the waffle is nice but the waffle itself is a glorified DIY hotel waffle that Krause Berry charges $13 for. I'm all for a leisurely morning breakfast but it's painful to watch these inefficient kids behind the counter struggle to make the same waffle over-and-over at such a slow pace. As I said, this is not the first time we've experienced this kind of wait at the Krause waffle line. I'd always chalked it up to it being early in the season or a new staff but after 4 visits of the same slowness, I think these kids know they can get away with slow service.

We recently visited Krause berry farm for a wine tasting. They make fruit wines not your typical grape wines. We liked most of what we tasted and ended up guying a couple of bottles each.
They had saddles instead of stools to sit on. While a cute idea the saddles are child size so not very comfortable. We would definitely return to try their wines, we just wouldn't choose to sit down while doing it.
We also enjoyed the waffles we had . Be prepared for a huge dollop of whipped cream! Very clean facility.

Disappointing
They concentrate more on the kitchen than worrying about the parking.
At 9:00 when the waffle breakfast was to begin the girls in the kitchen were disorganized and some seemed disinterested.
The girl putting syrup on the waffles was limiting it two a few drops for each. Made them very dry.
When they did hand out the tray under a low plexiglass the toppings were hitting the glass.

Hello
We are a fruit winery so we do have all the fields surrounding the winery which are free to visit. Raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and strawberry.

The farm does not have an entry fee, nor does our u-pick fields, but we do have a Family Fun Field that we change entry to.

Hello - it's a bit tough to say at this point, with all this cold weather. The Market, bakery and all the restaurants will be open mid May. If you want to get berries on your visit, it may be best to visit in the middle of June for strawberries. If you become a Farm Friend on our website, you will get monthly notices that let you now about ripe crops. You can also follow us on facebook to keep informed as we always post what crop is ripe and share what is happening at the farm.
FYI - the Estate Winery and Restaurant are open now on weekends from 10am to 4pm. They are open year round with seasonal hours and offer our jams, jellies, syrups and all the frozen items that we sell in the Market.

Hello
If you ring the farm at 604-856-5757 and leave your name, number and mention that you are interested in wedding details, someone will get back to you shortly. I am not able to leave an email address on this site as their rules won't allow it.
Thank you!

I'm sorry but we do not allow pets of any kind on the farm. We love animals, but kindly request that you leave them at home when you visit.
