Laura Velasco knows her stuff when it comes to guiding you around Mallorca, Spain.
She knows and appreciates the history, culture and food of Mallorca. We traipsed all over Palma with her one day giving us a great overview and understanding of Palma.
We met her again for a full-day excursion to the local villages of Valldemossa, the Gardens of Alfabia and Fornalutx. What a day! What a joy!
She went above and beyond when she hunted down a special jar of red peppers that we wanted to take back to the U.S. She scouted around on her own time and delivered two jars of the peppers to our hotel.
You can't go wrong with Laura in the lead.

I arranged a 2 day tour with Christophe from Spain Private tour guides, he was very helpful in providing me helpful useful info about the city and realistic expectations about what could be visited during my tours. He and the guide Steve tried to include as many sites as I requested and our visit to Barceolna was very pleasant and comprehensive. Would definitely use this company again. Thank you!

Alex helped us organize a tour in two cities. Mallorca and Valldemossa. This was a private tour and we were able to customize the points we wanted to visit.We went to the dragon caves with great sight seeing spots. The highlight was Valldemossa and the little potato buns as well as the small tapas shop we had lunch in in Valldemossa.The 8 hour tour went by super fast. The benefit of the private tours are that you have a chance to really talk with the tour guides as well as discuss geo political topics and every day life to see how locals really live and love in Spain.In Valencia, we saw a lot of the sights around the city and talked about the creation of the meal between breakfast and lunch that was started in Valencia. We saw the shopping area as well as the beaches. A tasting of Grade A jamon and authentic Paella was also arranged after touring markets and the old village.It was a lot of travelling, talking and eating but I think Alex and Spain Private tours did a great job in helping us experience the culture in such a short period.*Tip - Spain is the best place to get luxury goods because of the taxes.*Tip 2 - get the apps for the two VAT refund companies and use the app (will save you 3 hours at the airport)*Tip 3 - The pearls in the outlet which this company takes you to is the best price...

Christophe and his team made our stay in Barcelona a truly memorable one. Very comfortable private buses, knowledgeable guides and drivers, flexible itineraries and lunch suggestions that were simply amazing. One example: they whisked us through at Sagrada Familia in minutes, where others had to wait for hours to get in. I will contact them in a heartbeat, next time I go back to Spain !!

Christophe arranged the perfect guide for our brief stop in Valencia. This was at the end of our 15-day cruise and we were kinda fried, but Noelia was so delightful and full of energy that we enjoyed our time in Valencia far more than we could have ever expected to.
The indoor market was dazzling - I thought for sure it was an old train station because it was such a beautiful building - nope they built it just for the market.
The festival decorations were all up - wish we could have seen the city at night. Valencia was fun and lively, clean.
The aquarium complex is stunning - she totally made it so we could get out and pics of it even though we were short on time. Never felt like anyone was watching the clock.
Christophe even stopped in to see us in Mallorca the day before just so we could meet him. Yes, he took time out of his schedule just to introduce himself.
EXCELLENT SERVICE - clean car, guides on time, perfectly suited to our needs, knowledgeable, flexible. EXACTLY what you want in a guide service.
We were cruising so our time was limited - paying for a private guide is THE BEST way to experience a port on your own - no waiting. Spend the money people - you won't regret it!

We have been to Barcelona two times before and never hired a guide. We saw the city completely different this time and fell in love with Barcelona with the help of a wonderful guide. Christophe de Jonghe was easy to work with and replied promptly to all my questions. After this visit with Spain Private Tour Guides, we can't wait to go back to this beautiful city.

Found this company through trip advisor and with their help managed, for the first time in my life, to organise private tours for my family and friends in Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca. What I can say.. communication was perfect, timing perfect, excellent vans and drivers. And great value for money. I highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to work with Christophe de Jonghe for a year planning our excursions for my group of 30's 12 day Celebrity cruise to Spain and Portugal. He made suggestions, but was flexible and patient in meeting the ever changing needs of my large group. He was able to provide excellent transfers, tours and guides in Barcelona, Palma de Majorca, Cartegena, Granada, and Rhonda. The prices were reasonable, since this company is the supplier for Spanish tour guides for many international tour operators.
We all especially loved Anna in his home port of Majorca. She is a gem, who took us on a whirlwind tour of this beautiful island using an old wooden train and then a tram on a scenic ride from Soller to Porto de Soller, and then a bus to the hilltop town of Valdemosa. It was perfectly timed to allow a chance to lunch in a sidewalk cafe, and shop. The pearl necklaces and bracelets were beautiful and affordable treasures to bring home.
Another fantastic day, was the 10 hour excursion to Granada and the Alhambra from Malaga, utilizing 2 excellent guides. One accompanied us on the bus and the walking tour, and then a local guide took over for the Alhambra.
You can't go wrong with choosing Spain Private Tour Guides.
