A very interesting private museum if you are at all interested in military history, particularly that of the Second World War. Does get a little crowded because there is a huge amount to see and limited space. The canteen is a little basic but that is not why one would go there anyway.

First of all the staff were the friendliest people ever and were happy to talk about everything there.
The tanks were so fun to go in i did nearly get stuck in the drivers seat but oh well.
I also got to hold guns.

Visited today after a short notice detour on our road trip and glad we stopped here.
We have a four year old but we’re real war nerds so anything like this is right up our street.
We know a lot but my day the volunteers were amazing so friendly and an absolute fountain of knowledge about the tans guns are wars in general and as I said they were all volunteers so did this for the love of it.
They let us climb in poke around game us talks on everything.
They were also so understanding are our little boy has additional needs and we’re very accommodating.
I can’t believe this hidden gem.
We made a donation as they were all outstanding and this place deserves to be shouted about.
They all have hands on experience and all have a hand in the restorations to .
We’re not close but would make a 300 mile trip to return.

Staff where very friendly and extremely knowledgeable we had Rob show us round no charge just happy to add to the experience he had plenty of time to tell you everything their was to know about the displays and more extremely approachable would recommend visiting here large selection of vehicles and much more ruffly a 2-3h day trip

I took my Beaver scouts 6-8 years to this museum 19 lively kids ! They had a fantastic time they asked so many questions and received informative answers. They had a ride in a vehicle and climbed inside some tanks which they really enjoyed, the museum was knowledgeable, patient . I have had great feedback from the parents saying their child wants to return to spend more time there. Definitely worth a visit they also have a cafe on site

Absolutely brilliant, well worth the entrance price , guide was brilliant knew is stuff ,could of talked on for hours but didn't want to upset the wife , was allowed to climb on the top of achieftan tank and was more than surprised was allowed go climb in , no additional fee , was spell bound , highly recommend and more than happy to go again and to recommend

Visited today as were on holiday this way. Highly recommend, we was there a few hours. The volunteers and staff were great. Really informative and easy to talk to. Had a laugh and my autistic teenager thoroughly enjoyed himself. Highly recommend a visit

We brought our daughter here for her 8th birthday as tanks- or anything military fascinates her!
This place is a brilliant little gem, £9 entry fee per adult with children under 12 being free per paying adult.
You can get up close and personal with the tanks, guns and the radio room, my daughter was loving climbing inside and sending out SOS messages on the morse code machine.
There’s also a lovely cafe onsite, the staff/volunteers are sooo friendly and welcoming too.
There’s also a chance to get a ride inside a tank but we had to leave before the time so we shall definitely be returning shortly!

This is my review about The Norfolk Tank Museum.
This is a hidden gem if ever I saw one! My husband is a WWII geek and he loves this kind of thing and I must say if you have similar interests, you will love it too!
First of all these tanks are all in working order, which is amazing in itself! We were shown around the museum by Steven, who was extremely knowledgeable and spent a long time explaining all of the tanks to us. He had some great stories to tell and we were just blown away by it all.
They have a lovely cafe with proper coffee and bacon rolls etc. and the lady was really nice.
Overall we had a lovely time and are looking forward to another visit sometime soon. So if you haven’t been yet…..don’t hesitate and give it a go

Sorry, we don’t open Easter Sunday. We open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from April 3rd. We have rides each day we are open, weather-permitting.

Hi, we were thinking of going to your Easter event with our boy he is only 2 years 8 months old and was wondering if there was any restrictions on rideing in the vehicles. And if there was any activities which younger children would enjoy please?

Hi,
The Easter Egg Hunt is aimed at younger children and the craft activities will probably be suitable too, there is plenty of colouring available as well as making Easter bonnets. The vehicle ride is safe for all ages, but it is bumpy and loud so it’s really up to you if you think it would be suitable for your particular child. There is an intercom and emergency stop for you to pull if needed. You’ll be able to watch a ride first in any case and then make a decision. The rides are extra to the museum entry, £3 each, all other activities are included. Hope to see you Saturday :)

No, the only 2 Conquerors preserved are at Bovingdon and Duxford.
