The "Halloween experience" has become a tradition for my friends and I. It's perfectly themed (like all of the escape rooms I've also done at this location) it's creepy, goosebumps raising and absorbing, but not terrifying... at least in our opinions. The staff are soo friendly, accommodating and patient that they deserve their own 5 star rating. Although the experience is rustic (outdoor toilets only) and may not suit everyone's pallet, it is a guaranteed good time.

I brought my staff to Escape Maze as a fun staff outing and was not disappointed. Everyone had a great time and loved how immersive it was! Highly recommended. We will go back!

We had the best afternoon with our family. A wonderful walk through a beautiful property solving riddles with our kids. We already want to return for another adventure.

On Thanksgiving weekend 9 of us did the Stalking Dead escape maze. It was a fantastic time. Everything was so well done. The introduction and even how they explained the rules was very entertaining. The jump scares were plentiful. The puzzles were challenging and you have the added stress of being stalked by crazy circus freaks. We all loved it and would recommend to everyone.

We (four guys) completed the Jailbreak room and considered it among the best rooms we have done. Quality throughout, very thoughtful, innovative and doable. The outdoor laser isn't just a kid game. Again, quality equipment and great fun. HIghly recommended.

My wife and I have been here twice, once for an indoor escape room and once for an outdoor adventure trail. Both experiences were fantastic! The creators put a LOT of energy into designing these things. You won't be disappointed!

We’ve been to Escape Maze before to do escape rooms, but we decided to try Laser Tag with two families (ranging from age 9-45). Everyone had an absolute blast!!! It was high energy and so much fun. The location is so cool. It’s partially covered (so you have the option of being shaded the whole time, if you want). We did get our shoes a little muddy, but no one cared. One thing that really impressed me was that they have washable ‘sweatbands’ to wear inside the headpiece that are washed between users, so it’s definitely more sanitary than other places we’ve played. It seems like a small detail, but it definitely improves the experience.
Having been to Escape Maze several times, it always stands out to me how pleasant they are. It’s great service, a great local business, and a great location. Booking online is so easy and seamless. Check it out if you haven’t been there yet!

Had a great time with a group of (adult) friends “escaping” the Wizards & Dragons room. A good variety of puzzles and difficulty. The theme of the room was fun and the room was decorated appropriately with nice attention to detail. Everyone in my group enjoyed the challenge and we have plans to go back.

This is an amazing gem in the Peterborough area. The booking is easy, they respond quickly to emails with any additional questions, and are super helpful and friendly.
We (4 adults) did the Great Bear Trail escape puzzle (all outdoors). It was incredibly put together with a great deal of thought and consultation with local indigenous elders, we learned so much. The property is beautiful so try to take the time to enjoy the surroundings while you are puzzling as the trails are quite beautiful. We were also intrigued that they offer glamping on the property. This is such a neat place! Some very creative people have put in allot of work into this!
The instructions and what to expect at the begining for us first timers was great and very helpful. The puzzles were challenging but also really fun. As first timers we took quite awhile with our puzzles so it helped that there wasn't a time limit so we felt no pressure LOL. Kudos to the Grade 12 class that we were told completed it in record time recently!!

well thought out and constructed rooms. Very friendly people running it, with multiple rooms and outdoor mazes.

Yes it is! Kids usually do very well playing in an escape room with the guidance of an adult. In addition to that, one of our outdoor adventure trails was designed especially for kids. Thanks for the question. Let us know if we can book a time slot for you and your family. Cheers jake
