The training was not so bad but i got scammed by the owners and is wife their motorbikes rentals they overcharged me and even after i payed they didn’t gave me back my deposit. The owner is not very nice and accommodation were ok

Dear Eloik,
What a spiteful review to write. It just shows how immature you are. It appears you came to Thailand with no means to pay for services provided. Appearing drunk and stoned, blaming others for your mistakes. The moped in question was the one you hired from us. You appeared offended when we asked to see your driving license, as you apparently were an experienced rider…..!! We worry about everyone who rides in Thailand as it can be dangerous, including ‘experienced’ riders. You had the bike for one week, falling off it with no intention of telling us or fixing the broken mirror/scuffs to the vehicle. When this was spotted we asked you to return the bike so it could be fixed and you were also given a replacement free of charge. The moped which needed repairing was eventually taken to a garage, but unfortunately it didn’t start (we have 2 trainers who can vouch/witnessed this). The vehicle eventually was transported to the garage with great difficulty and expense to us. The motorbike mechanics carried out the repairs to the mirror and to get the bike running so it could be rented again. You were presented with the bill and refused to pay the small amount about 2600 baht (70 usd). There was no additional cost added for transporting the bike, or loss of income (as our bike was not available for hire). The bill was just simply to repair the bike that YOU crashed, and broke. This was explained to you. You had no intention of being responsible for your actions. The bike rental was terminated and calculated (very fairly at the daily rate) to cover costs, and a small amount was returned to yourself.
You are certainly not welcome at the gym. We only invite people who want to train in Muay Thai and wish to be part of a welcoming group of people who want to change themselves - which you did not want to be part of. The moped rental is only available for capable students to get from A to B, not A to Mars, which you were trying reach in you own little mind/world.
We hope you have time to reflect and change your way thinking and actions in future.

AMAZING experience and one I don’t think I’ll ever forget. Howard (who runs the gym) is really cool and goes above and beyond to ensure all guests at the gym are comfortable and happy. His friendly, approachable attitude made me feel immediately welcome and at home. I did the full accommodation, food and training package for 4 weeks.
The quality of the training provided was better than I could have hoped for. You get lots of attention and one to one time with the Thai trainers (ex fighters) who are supportive and very knowledgeable. I was new to Muay Thai so they gradually built up my technique and confidence. It was no surprise when I later learnt that Honour Muay Thai had a reputation of always having the best trainers. Being taught by people who were once world class fighters was a privilege. Watching them demonstrate correct technique is an experience in itself.
Lastly, I must mention Howards wife (Goy) who cooks the meals at the camp. Lots of healthy, fresh Thai style food. The meals were honest so good I’d put them above any restaurant I ate at during my stay in Thailand!!! So good!
To sum up, I had an amazing time and I thoroughly recommend Honour Muay Thai to anyone out there.

I spent 3.5 weeks at Honour Muay Thai and if I could, I would triple the amount of time I have spent here. The whole atmosphere is amazing. It's a simple place that has everything you need. The trainers are INCREDIBLE - they are knowledgeable, patient, have a great sense of humour, and they're simply legends in Muay Thai. I wake up every single morning inspired to learn from them. The food is amazing and the 2 x meals per day are sufficient (more than enough food). The people have become my family and I only have a few days left and I'm devastated. I WILL BE BACK and that is guaranteed.

This gym is 100% legit! The trainers are all champions and a lot of fun to train with, the food is top notch, the rooms are great for recovering, the owner Howard is always around to share a pointer or a laugh and the crew that's here to train is a bunch of awesome people from around the world! Can't recommend Honour Muay Thai enough!

I have spent four weeks at Honour Muay Thai training. I have been to other Muay Thai camps in Thailand and Honour truly stands out as in a class of their own. It starts with the Owner Howard, a Brit and himself a former fighter. Howard is abundantly present, ready and able to answer all questions. He is pleasant, funny, and importantly extremely helpful, he is present during the training sessions, offering guidance and when needed is able to translate if a message isn’t getting through due to language barriers.
The lead trainer, Mr. Lek, is an extremely accomplished fighter, and a wonderfully adept trainer, offering great guidance for both beginners and more advanced students alike. Along with Won and Satja, who round out the Kru team, they are all happy, helpful, funny, and most importantly – patient! Having trained elsewhere, I can tell you not everywhere is good with beginners. I’ve witnessed where the group trainings at other gyms are nothing other than cattle calls, with little to no instruction. Honour truly is different, the beginners get even more attention, and they are truly trying to teach you technique.
I didn’t stay onsite, I only trained, but the facilities are great, and all the live in
students seemed to be getting along and having tons of fun as well.
The other consideration worth pointing out, because I’ve seen the other side, is that Honour is very clean. The mats are mopped, the floors are cleaned regularly. This also has not always been the experience I’ve witnessed elsewhere.
The location is a little off the beaten path in a lovely vegetated residential area 5 minutes by moto from Ao Nang beach. Everything easily accessible.
There isn’t a scintilla of arrogance, or elitism at this place……you are made to feel welcome and worthy instantly. They hold the traditions of Muay Thai dear as well, so you quickly learn the expectation is to respect the traditions of the Art of Eight Limbs, which is really nice to experience. There is a lot of grunting and sweating when you’re there, but you also importantly hear a ton of encouragement, along with lots of laughter.
Don’t hesitate, book it!

The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and very focused on perfect execution of the technique. They are super dedicated and always give you a lot of attention.
Howard (the owner) is there during every session, making sure that everything is going well.
After each session, Goy cooks delicious thaï food.
The accommodation is basic, but you get used to it quickly and you are in Thailand in an amazing setting so you don't need much.
The atmosphere is super chilled and everything is focused around the training.
The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and very focused on perfect execution of the technique. They are super dedicated and always give you a lot of attention.
Howard (the owner) is there during every session, making sure that everything is going well.
After each session, Goy cooks delicious thaï food.

Afgelopen week 3 trainingen gevolgd bij honour muay Thai. De trainingen en de trainers zijn van een zeldzame top kwaliteit en de sfeer is warm en ontspannen. De trainingen duren 2 uur en zowel als beginner, gevorderde of wedstrijdvechter kun je hier veel leren. Een van de trainers is een oud wereld kampioen (chanoi) die met de grootste vechters heeft gevochten waaronder Ramon Dekkers. Hele dikke aanrader om hier te gaan trainen wanneer je in de buurt bent of om een verblijf te boeken.

Honour Muay Thai is absolutely awesome Thai boxing gym along with being a friendly and approachable environment. The coaches are former Thai boxing champions , excellent technical knowledge and push you to be your best in time you are here. They are patient teachers developing Muay Thai skills from beginner to advanced. It's best experience being out here to train in Thailand and beautiful location.

Just finished 1 month all inclusive package at honour and it’s been incredible. The coaches are all brilliant with a wealth of knowledge and it’s easy to see yourself improving every session. There are always multiple coaches at every session so you get heaps of 1 on 1 coaching from coaches who’ve coached champion fighters and are champions themselves.
Living at the gym is a unique experience. The accommodations are comfortable, clean and simple with good areas to relax between sessions. The food is great for fueling your recovery after training and it’s in the perfect location, just outside ao nang town so that it’s quiet with great places nearby for snacks and smoothies and also close to the beach and massage places to recover after sessions.
This is a very unique and special place. Howard and his partner Goy, along with the great Thai coaches give the gym a very relaxed atmosphere, it’s like a big family. I’ve made so many friends and learnt so much and hope to return soon!

I trained at Honour Muay Thai for 6 weeks. I have trained at a couple of camps in Thailand and Honour Muay Thai is top quality training. It was a very welcoming gym with a range of experiences from begginers to fighters. I trained here for my first fight in thailand which I had after one month of training and was really pleased with how much I was able to learn in a short time. There is a great atmosphere in the gym which made it very easy to train twice a day. Balance, controll and technique are very important but you will also be pushed hard, espeically if you are a fighter. Running is essential for fighters and although it was new to my training scedule to run so much, it really helped my over all fitness. Begginers who wish to learn for the first time will have an oppertunity to develop a beautiful muay thai style and will get lots of focus and attention to detail. The food at Honour is by far the best food at any camp Ive been too. There is always a verity of food and plenty to go around. I had a fanstatic stay here and miss it very much. I plan to come back for a longer period develop as a fighter and Honour is the place to do that.

Thank you very much for your review. As you discovered, we give real Muay Thai Training and advice how to get better. Muay Thai can be misunderstood, but we are clear in our basic structure to quickly improve anyone who comes to us to train.

Would love to do a day session however I have acrylic nails on. Would I still be able to do it and without pain ?

When I was there, a gal was training with acrylic nails and didn’t seem to have any issue when hitting pads with her gloves on. Not my personal experience, just an observation. Hope that helps.

I have my own accommodation in Pattaya. How much for just 7 days training morning and evening? I'm only doing it for weight loss and fitness.
