We were disgusted that on arrival the downmarket room we booked on Booking.com was approximately TBH 6000 and it was the worst room while the best room in the hotel was priced the same.
The service was shoddy and the PR smiley faces were merely fake to help put out fires!

We stayed here in the resort for 3 night s and didnt use the gym as such but its just above the pool

Doc invited us for a fight night at friday with local food first. That was a great experience. We had a walk through at the Ao Nang stadium and got a lot of stories and history.
Saturday, we were at Doc’s gym for a Muay Thai session. He is rich in knowledge about Muay Thai and Thailand history, and the fact that he is from California makes the language barrier dissapear.
He is a very pleasant and nice guy, he took care of us and showed us around.
We absolutely recomend everyone who travels to krabi to meet up with Doc to learn about Muay Thai and everything else you need to know about krabi and the Thai culture.
Saturday, we were at Doc’s gym for a Muay Thai session. He is rich in knowledge about Muay Thai and Thailand history, and the fact that he is from California makes the language barrier dissapear.

Wonderful person,wonderful coach zina,patient and so detail in training which made me love the sport more.not only did i learnt about the sport but also the tradition of muay thai,one thing you dont wanna miss in Ao Nang.will be seeing you guys soon.thank you for evrything.

地方不太好找，幸亏的士司机热心打了若干电话问路才把我们送到。设施设备比较简陋，且和介绍图片中显示的不太一样。但是上课的大叔非常热情，授课技术也很不错。这节体验课可以说是我上过感觉最好的健身类体验课了。收费是一个半小时每人一千泰铢。

Amazing 2 hours with Doc, learnt all about the history and traditions in Thailand all through the martial art of Muay Thai. We were taken through the traditional dance, training games, footwork drills and finishing off with some punch combos on the pads. Excellent coach with heaps of knowledge and experience. Training session was finished off with some lovely food and drink. Fried bananas and a chai latte. Wicked day to finish our trip, will definitely be catching up with Khru again in the near future 😀

Kidding. I only had one Muay Thai personal training session with Doc. Wish I could say that I did more cause it was seriously a blast! Doc is a great teacher- I learned the four punch combo within an hour! If you're looking for fun, reliable, and knowledgeable people to be active with during your visit to Ao Nang, get in touch with Doc and Zina. They may even take you to the Tiger Cave Temple which is a whopping 1,260 steps to the top!

Cours particuliers de muay thai pour mes enfants de 5 et 8 ans avec Khru Doc, résultat inscription à la boxe à la rentrée. Juste excellent, montre les bases de la boxe, dommage qu'il y est eu la barrière de la langue (mon anglais un peu médiocre) car sinon je pense cela aurait pu être encore plus enrichissant.

Yes ... AoNang Cliff Beach Resort does not have a Muay Thai Gym, Khru Doc is not working there and he is now doing his own program at his own New VIP Fitness Gym !! ;-)

We are going to stay in ao nang on 6 march-2015 in vipa tropical resort.
First of all please introduce me what actually is the purpose of fight and lessons? i am excited to learn & explore because i am art & culture lover person, but in this activity i am unable to understand that where is fun and entertainment or excitement in this lesson or in fight. please explain.
secondly please tell us your fee? how much you charges? And duration pls?
