Loved flying above the water, great fun. Will definitely try again next year. One on one instruction meant I was able to fly first time. We even got a demo from the pro!

Our two sons decided to try the Jetlev experience, and my wife and I went along to watch. It was a chilly October day, but apparently the water wasn't too cold. They both thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and it was fun just to watch them. I don't think it's something us oldies would attempt, but sure looks like fun for the 'younger' generation.
There are warm showers afterwards, and a nice restaurant. we also saw other water activities taking place, so looks like a good activity location.

Tried this last weekend, it was fantastic great instruction which meant before long i was up and out of the water and 'flying' lots of other things to do at the lakes so you could have full a great day at this venue.

Seen this several times at the Bedford River Festival and got the opportunity to have a go on the lakes at Wyboston. After the initial fear of jumping in the water with a heavy cradle on your back (containing the jet pack) I finally managed to float.
After some tips from the instructor I was off - and after a couple of failed attempts I was in the air.
It was hard work and I ached afterwards but it was a great experience - definitely worth giving it a go. It's also a great setting and on a nice day would be lovely spending the afternoon in the bar or restaurant or beside the lakes.

Went as part of my sons 18th birthday celebrations and it was stunning! A great venue, excellent teacher and friendly staff.
Jetlevving is a fantastical thing to do. I don't know whether to call it a sport, pastime or whatever but the sheer exhilaration when you eventually leave the water and soar into the air is indescribable. Booking again as soon as I can

Had a great afternoon here. Great experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Great Hot Chocolate afterwards in Cafe. Will definitely be returning.

Booked this as a present for my hubby and he was not disappointed! The instruction was amazing and my husband and everyone else we watched were able to get the hang of it and shoot up in the air after a bit of practise. The highlight however was that they managed to squeeze in a tandem ride for our 7 and 9 year olds who were beyond excited!!

Oh my Gosh this was absolutely awesome . Fantastic adrenalin rush cant wait to do it again . The instructor has the patience of a saint. I am not brilliant in the water and he made the whole experience fantastic. Even though you are flying alone he was right there with me on the jet ski giving on the spot instruction. BRILLIANT !

If you're one of those people who've done it all then this is the perfect experience for you. Unlike anything I've ever tried, it looks spectacular and is great fun once you've got the hang of it. It is tricky to control but the team are fantastic and you have someone alongside you on a jet ski to give you tips and help you make the most of your time. There is a bar on site and friends/relatives can go down to the lake to watch you and take some pics if they'd like. Once you've finished there are showers which are lovely and hot, so if it's a cooler day you'll soon warm up when you've finished.

I've done this review for my hubby as he's not on here and it seems a shame to not say something after such a great day out! He was 50 back in January so I wanted to get him something special. He enjoys a bit of adrenalin-type stuff and has done bungee jumping, sky diving, etc so I was trying to think of something a bit different - then I stumbled upon it....JetLev Flying! As close to James Bond as he's going to get I suspect so it seemed just the right thing. I booked through 'Into the Blue' for him to have a solo JetLev experience with JetLev Flyer at Ride, Wyboston Lakes, near Cambridge. Obviously, because it's cold in January, we headed off for him to take his flight today.
Lots of parking there and very friendly staff on reception. The lady kindly showed us the way across to where the JetLev's were and we sat down to watch other people having a go. Looked like so much fun I was feeling a bit jealous of my present to hubby and rather fancied having a go myself!
When it was near his turn, hubby got his wetsuit on and waited. The lady taking the photographs (which she uploads and you can keep for free - how nice is that?!) gave him a safety talk and instruction on how to operate the jetpack. His turn came around and the jetpack was put on. A jump into the lake and he was ready. He got off to a great start and really enjoyed it. The controls are very sensitive he told me and it's quite hard work but such fun. I was hoping to get lots of lovely close-up photos of him on my phone as every other person had been not too far from the jetty but, naturally, he headed off over to the bloody island so was the furthest away I'd seen anyone fly!
He managed to get out of the water quite a bit and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The chap on the jet bike suggested to him at the end that he head back to the jetty so I could get a few good snaps - thank you for that.
Couldn't recommend JetLev Flyer and the team enough. We now want one of these but it's a toss up between that and a house deposit. Hey, you can't fly a house right? ;-) If you get a chance, go along, have fun, and feel like Bond for the day. You won't regret it (I'm told). Now, where's my birthday list....?
