Not much of a parking lot and easy to drive by if you're not using Google Maps or a similar app. The view from lookout was beautiful, although the lookout itself is starting to show its age. The climb down to the Mad River was spectacular, with stairs built in where it was very steep. For an unmanned park, it is in very good shape with very little litter that was only in the parking lot (my friends cleaned it all up while waiting for me). The switchback on the opposite of the Mad River to climb to the top of the bluffs was wide enough for two people to walk side-by-side. Please remember that you are descending and then ascending 50+ metres each side of the Mad River, so proper footwear is important. Sandals and regular running shoes are not a good idea.

Great place to snowshoe, nice trails and a great switchback trail to keep your heart rate up! Such a great place to take your family, but also a wonderful spot to take pictures and explore the local scenery of the small valley and river that runs through ! Always a favourite go to spot!

The Bruce Trail through Devil's Glen Provincial Park near Singhampton(south of Collingwood) has been a place I've wanted to explore for some time. I completed a 12 km loop circuit consisting of the main Bruce Trail combined with the Mad River Side Trail and passing through the village of Glen Huron and returning back to Devils Glen Provincial Park.
The parking lot for Devil's Glen is located on the south side of County Road 124, just west of the entrance to Devil's Glen Country Club. It's easy to miss the entrance espcially traveling westbound.
The parking lot would hold between 6 to 8 cars. It should be noted that the park is considered as a non-operating park, and as such there are no facilities like washrooms.
Exiting the back of the parking lot you travel along the path for less then a 100 metres or so until you reach a plaque and the start of the trail down the escarpment to the Mad River.
The path down to the Mad River is a long slow walk. Just remember that if you head down the path, at some point you have to hike back up at again.
Once along the Mad River the trail is quite flat, making for a pleasant hike. It should be mentioned that after a crossing a small bridge over the Mad River, follow the Mad River Side Trail. Note - you are now on the private property of Devils Glen Country Club. Please follow the blue trail signs through the facility. They grasiously allow the Bruce Trail to traverse their property. The trail follows the Mad River until reaching Glen Huron Pond and the Hamilton Bros. lumber yard in the village of Glen Huron.
My loop took me up Nottawasaga Rd(Concession 8) and then turning right onto Sideroad 15&16, still on the Mad River Side Trail. From the village of Glen Huron to the point where the Mad River Side Trail connects back to the main Bruce Trail at the top of the escarpment is about 1.6 km of VERY steep hiking.
The main trail at this point follows the top of the escarpment and the hill top boundary at of Devils Glen Country Club. After passing through a beautiful pine forest you re-enter the Country Property. Following the white blaze marking of the Bruce Trail, you complete a series of switch backs down a steep ravine to the Mad River. The hike along the Mad River is generally flat and a nice break from the steep down climb. You exit the Country Club property at the same location you entered it.
Follow the trail back up the steep slope that you first came down when you left the provincial park parking lot.
There is also a lookout platform that also give great views of the ski hills and the surrounding area.
The hiking here is wonderful, but challenging in sections. There was a heat warning out the day I was there. The 1.6 km steep hike from Glen Huron to the top of the escarpment was exhausting. But, all in all a great experience.

This is one of the smaller Ontario provincial parks that one is likely to run across, and so not really fair to compare to bigger parks. It exists to protect a little bit extra of the Bruce Trail as well to provide a nice lookout over the valley below. It is free entry, and there are no entry fees. A small walkway leads to an overlook, while a longer one joins the Bruce Trail. It is not going to change anyone's life probably, nor end up on lists of the best things to do in Ontario, but it makes for a nice and easy road side stop.

This is a provincial park without any facility and thus no fees. The downside of it is no washroom. Parking lot is very small but that's not a problem as there are very few visitors.
For us, this place is perfect to let our dogs run loose. There is a little bit of hiking trail going downward from the parking area. Eventually, the trail ends and opens up to a bridge. I think there is a trail continuing up the bridge direction but we had never gone that far.
It has a lookout platform to see the Devils Glen country ski club just further into the park from the entrance. You get to see some of the Niagara Escarpment.
