This apartment, owned by Pamela and Sandro, is located outside the small Tuscan town of Quarrata, on the side of the Monte Albano mountain range. It's approached from Quarrata on a narrow and steep road, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. As cyclists, we enjoyed (!) the 3 or 4 km climb, with gradients of about 12% in places; it's not a problem for cars, however.
The apartment is delightfully rustic in style, cosy but spacious. It's really best for a couple, but there is a sofa-bed in the combined sitting room-kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a spacious fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and plenty of utensils, glasses, cups, crockery.
The bedroom has a view onto the terrace and countryside, while the all new bathroom is accessed via the sitting room.
Overlooking the plain to distant Pistoia and Prato, the terrace is a delight. There is a table and chairs for eating al fresco, a swinging garden seat and a hammock. The ... mehr
