We loved Milarepa. It's not manicured like the highest end resorts are, so the first impression wasn't a 10/10 moment, but it grows on you in a matter of days and within a week we were in love.
Four separate open-air sleeping cabins, each with their own bathrooms (with showers, no bathtubs) have small front porches looking through the trees to the ocean. Ceiling and floor fans in each. Bug nets cover each of the beds offering both protection and a cozy feel.
The main building is also open air... with a combined living area, dining area, bar, and kitchen all under one roof. A true gather place.
Pool in front is refreshing and cleaned daily.
The property in general is naturally beautiful, but could use a little "refresh" here and there. When it does get refreshed, so will the price, so go now before it costs $2,000+ per night :-)
