I spent a few days here in late June and was amazed at the idyllic surroundings and incredible peacefulness of the location.
Maria, the owner explained upon arrival that the property is an old Manor grounds (very old, there are some truly beautiful ancient features all around). There are 2 properties for rent within the property (her house is there also), there is a 2 bed upper apartment complete with kitchen (and original old stone stand where cauldron used to sit!), and the studio, across the path, where I stayed.
The studio doesn't have a proper kitchen, just a sink, fridge and kettle but it's all very nicely decorated and comfortable and I was greeted by locally-picked lemons and a complimentary bottle of their own vineyard's wine. The bathroom is stunning. The wi-fi was provided by a little portable device which wasn't brilliant to be honest as it kept losing reception and was painfully slow even when it worked, so if internet access is important to you, best ...
