We stayed here for 3 nights. Juan was very welcoming and kindly gave us complementary 'pasteis de nata' on our arrival. The location was very good; in the heart of quaint Alfama. The flat, although small, was cosy and clean with a modern style whilst retaining the charming old windows and floorboards, with lovely portugese tiles lining the dining room wall.
We were very comfortable. The flat has a good shower. The television worked well however we couldn't work out how to use the DVD player.
As we stayed in January we used the electric heaters, which worked, although seemed to switch themselves off on a timer, but this wasn't a problem for us and we could easily switch them back on.
The kitchen is small although has the basics for what you need (with included coffee maker for morning esspresso!)
The only negative we would say is that there was a slight urine(y) smell just at the entrance to the bottom of the small flight of stairs. This was obviously not a ... mehr
