We have just spent 4lovely days in The Nook, from the moment you step into this very old cottage your breath is taken away, the decor is pure country, from the log burning fire to the comfy sofas it's a home from home.
We took a lot of items we thought we might need, but all were there for you,so we could of gone with far less luggage
There is no parking at the cottage even though we were told there was it is under an arch which is very narrow, and is not worth the risk,we parked in the Black Bull pub spoke to the
new manager over a pint, and he allowed us to park there,it's directly over the road from the cottage.
The railway is also worth a trip, going back in time to the age of steam.
We ate at both The Registry and The White Lion both very good.and worth a visit.
These six old friends stayed at The Nook with plenty of space and comfort, and would love to go back sometime soon. mehr
