We stayed here as a group of 10 on a skiing holiday. This is my 3rd attempt at reviewing this hotel, as my previous two have been censored for not casting a favourable light on the management.
The rooms come in 2 standards; the new rooms at the front of the hotel which are modern, contemporary and provide fantastic views across the village. The other rooms are the ones they don't show you in the brochure. The room we stayed in looked like it was designed in the 70s and hasn't changed since. The "twin" bed was a double bed, the view from the window was of a near-vertical grassy bank so close to the window you could touch the snow, and the beds would've been slightly more comfortable if they were made of slate.
The bathroom wasn't ventilated so having a shower would result in condensation soaking everything in the room. That is if you were fortunate enough to not break your neck when having a shower, as the bath/shower had slippery sloping sides with no hand grips.
The skiing lockers described as "convenient" were in fact at the bottom of a long staircase. It's serviced by a lift but wearing skiing attire in the lift was strictly forbidden by the management. Being forced to walk up and down staircases in skiing boots is an accident waiting to happen.
For new years eve, we attended a "spectacular gala dinner" at the cost of 100 EUR per person. For something that's advertised as spectacular, I've never been so bored in my life. The atmosphere was absolutely dire, the service was slow and the staff looked fed up and bored. The whole event was watched over by the manager who selectively spoke to tables he thought deserved his attention, the rest he looked down his nose at.
The absolute worst part of our stay, and crucially the part that ruined our entire holiday, was the acts of aggression and physical threats of violence inflicted on a female member of my family by the male manager. In the UK he would've been arrested for such disgraceful behaviour. On another occasion the junior manager told us, despite there being 10 people in our party who ate and drank at the hotel every night, that we hadn't spent enough money at her hotel and then took pictures of a bottled soft drink we had on our table while we waited for our taxi to the bus stop. Throughout the entire duration of our stay it seemed the management wanted to belittle and humiliate us as much as possible.
This hotel is absolutely, beyond any doubt, the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay at.

it is correct, that we asked Tripadvisor 2 times to cancel your comments as it is not the truth.
We have got totally 10 different categories - so we have got rooms like the Standard double rooms which are not modern like the Deluxe rooms, they are in an Old Austrian style, so not everybody likes that style.
Please notice that our Standard and Superior double rooms are "Austrian twin bedded-rooms, not twin-beds, which means that there is a double bed with 2 separated mattrasses.
Just our Deluxe rooms have got the possibility to have separated beds.
Concering the bathrooms we can tell you that we did not get any complains the last years, as the bathrooms have got Austrian Security rules, otherwise we would not be able to keep them like it is .
To reach our ski room we have got 2 ways, which is inside or outside.
So that means, every guets who is wearing skiing shoes has to go outside - all our guests do accept this.
According to our New Years Eve we are happy to tell you that we have got so many regular guests who are coming since a long time over that time to celebrate with the owner Family.
As you have booked the rooms through Tour Operator we have to tell you that we never charge
for the New Years Eve, as this is an including benefit.
The Family Dschulnig Geissler is a passionated hotelier since a very long time.
Your behavior was very innappropriate at the restaurant (seating with the shoes on the restaurant-chairs, bringing your own drinks into the restaurant,.....) which is absolutaly not accepted for a 4stars hotel - we kindly asked you to refrain from doing this.
Due to that situation you reacted very aggressive - the owner defended just oneself.
After your check out we informed your Tour Operater about your stay . We are working a very long time with your Tour Operator - They were very sorry and apologized for your behavior as well.
