This new resort is all you can ask for after or before a Safari or for a perfect weekend break.
It is small, tranquil, relaxing and very friendly. It just can host 12 guest. Thus it will never get overcrowded.
The owners are involved in the management and take care of all your needs.
You can relax and do nothing or walk on the beach, or kajaking in the resort own mangroves.
The huts so called bandas are extremly spacious with a wonderful open sky shower and open view to the sea. The construction is well done to give you cover from the breeze or rain, but also gives you the feeling of being as close to nature as you want to get as a city dweller.
Last but not least the food is wonderful and whenever possible you will get the fresh seafood from the local fisherman. Also you will be offered the freshest fruits and vegetables available from their own garden or from the local farmers. The fine food comes with fine wine from South Africa or anything else from the wonderful bar.
The resort is located around one hour south of Dar Es Salaam. Airport is around 90 minutes away.
I highly recommend Ras Bamba to anyone who prefers management owned resorts with a personal touch.
