Usually it is not common to start a restaurant
review with the ambience. But here it is
appropriate as it gives already an overview of
the style of the kitchen.
The ambience is modern, let me say even
cool, the music is (cool?) jazz, some blues .
And this continues in the food.
It is of very high international
standard. Of course there are
also Scandinavian references
in the menu, but less than let us say in contrast to
Frantzen/Lindeberg or Mathias Dahlgren Matsalen.
This should not be understood as a critics, but
as a useful information.
Very interesting also the first four dishes (better
called amuse bouches) - maybe more Scandinavian inspired than the
main courses. The amuse-bouches were served each with some alcoholic
drinks one is asked to guess - really interesting.
