We visited various Canary Islands in December 2023 as part of a trip lasting several weeks - initially for a week in this hotel on Tenerife. In short: - Staff: friendly, helpful, customer-oriented, open-minded, knowledgeable in basically all areas (reception, restaurant, room maintenance, etc.). We would particularly like to highlight the temporary staff of the roof terrace - namely CHEIMA, SUSANA, and PATRICIA; they did an extraordinary job. This also applies to your service at the pool bar. The situation is different for other staff employed there: they largely have their own ideas when it comes to preparing the drinks as well as the choice of music and the volume. This is not compatible with the necessary taste or with the importance of music as accompaniment in the background - especially on the roof terrace, which is ideal for relaxing and ending the day. - Hotel: Spacious, modern, well-equipped, clean, good layout of the various areas, quick help (e.g. if there is a problem with the elevator), good fitness room and spa area; Rooms facing either the courtyards or the street with the usual noise level (the hotel is not responsible for the entertainment of neighboring hotels or a karaoke bar!). - Restaurant (basement): Diverse offering, well sorted, quick clearing; however, the music was sometimes too loud and the ventilation was too strong, so a new seat had to be found. - Room (adult area): absolutely fine, good layout, cleaning staff did a very good job and provided water; however, if the Labranda Group really has an environmental approach (at least that is what we hear), then the towels, for example, do not need to be changed almost completely every day if they are not on the floor. - Evening programme: Versatile; however, if possible, it should be avoided that the corresponding volume does not almost drown out the background music on the roof terrace. And specifically addressed to CHEIMA, SUSANA, and PATRICIA: sorry that we are only now writing the review as promised; we were away on other islands for another 2 weeks, then Christmas etc. Go on like that; this also applies to almost all of the staff in the other areas. We will also send this overall criticism to the hotel's "Public Relations" department (to Ms. F.) - even if it may already have been read and submitted here.…
